Well, either way, I'd be kind of pissed off at your mum.....
Oh, don't worry, I am. She definitely meant it in a negative way.
It's mostly because I (a Sophomore) have been spending time with her (she is a Senior) a lot lately. I've gotten my parents all concerned because I recently started hanging out with her, these two other seniors, and a sophomore friend, rather than my other group of friends whom are all sophomores.
Truly, age doesn't matter (my parents were a year apart in school), and it's not like these seniors are bad influences (all five of us are in one of the higher choirs at my high school).
Besides, shouldn't I be encouraged to make friends with people older and younger than me? I thought this was one of the points of High School, seriously.
id be pretty pissed off at my parents too...they should know and trust me well enough to be able to choose the right people to be with and make friends with...
age doesnt matter..unless a person is like 17 and he/she likes someone who is like..6 yrs. old..

Right, it they shouldn't be concerned with whom I hang out with. They've already established that they think I'll make way better decisions than my screw-up older brother, so they really shouldn't be going into hysterics just because I like a girl who is older than me. It's not like they're tempting me to skip school or have sex, seriously.

Ah well if you have a 'screw-up older brother' maybe thats the problem. They've seen what can happen and don't want it happening to you.
i feel weird; i have honestly never had any drama in my teenage life (friends, parents, the like), even before going to my current school. kind of funny, i guess.
my only advice is to not listen to your parents? it's not like you're doing anything egregious (if that girl you like is a hottie . . . go for it), so yeah

yes actually, this is called oversleeping
When you sleep too much it normally doesn't help and you end up as tired as before...........trust me I spend my life in a permenantly drowsy state. =_=
Oh and apparently, getting too much sleep is just as bad as not getting enough and can double the risk of death. Yay.

Wow, never knew that.
What I did know from experience was that, for some reason, short naps are way more refreshing than hours of sleep each night.

I was hoping Brad would have said something along the lines of, "Not being morbidly obese and smelly helps," but then I start to wonder if that detracts from the whole image of being an otaku (this is the part where George comes in to save the day, but he's in Florida - so get carp, the rest of you).
Anyway while I was at work today at this manufacturing client, I was abruptly kissed by this guy working there who was helping me find some inventory. Yeah, that was awkward...
