Fair point. Yea I even said I was partially to blame for not being specific enough. I guess we should end this convo.
Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts
To try getting this thread under control, I'll be stating the Top 5 Battles in SuperKing. Why am I doing this? Because the Anime is terrible and it'll be easier on my brain.
6. Hyuga (Super Hyperion) Vs. Valt (Brave Valkyrie) #2: Really cool. Clone Battle and Cool Moves. Sport's Counter?! ew.
5. Hikaru (King Helios) Vs. Rantaro (Glide Ragnaruk) #2. Severely underrated. Actually better than most battles in this season.
4. Valt and Rantaro (Brave Valkyrie/Glide Ragnaruk) Vs. Hyuga and Hikaru (Helios Volcano/Hyperion Burn) #2: Amazing Battle. Brothers Teamwork Development. FINALLY! It took you 50 Episodes?!
3. Hyuga and Hikaru (Hyperion Burn/Helios Volcano) Vs. Shu and Lean (Lucifer the End and World Spriggan) #2: Amazing Animations! Bladers Fighting?! Plot Armor ruined it though...
2. Lui and Drum (Rage Longinus and Tempest Dragon) Vs. Free and Sisco (Mirage Fafnir and Curse Satan): Sisco Development?! Lui and Free Rival Ending?! This is Anime!!
Before we get to my opinion of the Best Battle of SuperKing. An Honorable Mention is probably the battle between Lean and Valt. (10 Words): Heated. Valt Development. Plot Armor... Grr!!
1. Shu and Lean (World Spriggan and Lucifer the End) Vs. Valt and Rantaro (Brave Valkyrie and Glide Ragnaruk): Valt Vs Shu!! Actual Strategy!! Rantaro Does something!! Awesome!!
I know some of these Rankings may have shocked you or you may be unhappy with them but to be honest, most of the battles in Sparking were either rushed or Plot Armor overtook them which really ruined the season. I personally think that Hikaru should've been the only Main Character in this season since we've had too many Valt Rip-Offs in Beyblade Burst and Hikaru is the most different Protignest from Valt. Probably doing God next. That'll actually be a challenge

Awesome list but in my opinion I think Lui and Drum vs Rantaro and Hikaru should be up there. And I think sparking was an awesome season.
Some of our last glimpses of the Blading Legends. Still training. Moving ever forward.
I can scarcely believe we won't see them anymore.
I especially love this.
Though it's not perfect, what is honestly. I still love the Burst gen. My favorite. What a ride it's been.

My favorite season by far was Cho-Z/Turbo. The villain known as Phi was phenomenal. Aiger turning evil who is the main character is unique and unreal. And the battles were just something else. 11/10 season no regrets.
Small details 2
During a rewatch i noticed a couple things
1. In DB Shu is the only character/Legend to not get 1 win but 2 losses (Sad)
2. Compared to other seasons in DB Shu is shown to Favor right spin more than left spin. As In burst god and cho z Left spin was his go to and in sparking he tried balancing it. But in DB he uses right more than Left.
3. Payne did what phi couldn't which was to challenge and defeat Valt.
4. Basara is the only character to change and use a recolor of his bey. While others are just copies of the original.
5. Basara holds the highest honor of a Bahamut user as he is the first user to beat the main character in their first and second battle. Valt beat Boa in their first match and drum beat blind in both matches while basara won.
6. Every bahamut uses has one more battle with the mc compared to before boa: 1, blind: 2, Basara: 3 (not counting tag team im talking about singles also first basara battle doesnt count as it was with solomon not bahamut)
7. Lui is the only antagonist to not lose the final battle against the protagonist.
8. Ranzo when he had glide could use moves from both rantaro and ranjiro. Super tornado (ranjiro) and mach tornado (rantaro)
9. In the early episodes of DB i believe it was shown that basara could resonate with solomon which is why it had a red aura.
10. First Uranus, Death Solomon, and jet wyvern are the only beys with motifs that dont have an avatar thats shown. (Unless i missed some)
11. Longinus and Fafnir seem to have made upgrades to cover weakness from previous losses. Free making Kick which has the ability to counter smash attacks (limit break the end) and Lui adding dragon heads at the bottom of the layer to counter attacks from under (dynamite bomber on rage) they also seem to counter each other. Guilty creating strong smash attacks and kick countering smash attacks. True rivals.

They gave him some interesting depth. One of the things I look at when deciding on a character whose arc I want to breakdown is for the personal growth aside from blading. I think Burst is unparalleled in that regard. They have characters that really grew on a personal relatable level not particularly connected to Blading. Ken learned to find connection, Daigo was haunted by his guilt over a serious mistake and had to work to overcome that, Silas just wanted to belong somewhere and searched for awhile to find such a place etc. Burst really excelled at that moreso than prior gens.
Arman learned to have a bond with his bey to get that Gold Turbo

It was deeper than that when you really think about it. I broke down his arc in a prior post. It was only after he stopped comparing himself to others and learned to recognize and value his own positive qualities that he was able to form that connection with Ashindra. It was from a personal place that he moved forward as a person and a blader. That's something I really like about Burst characters.
A example of this development that got me hooked was Valt and Shu. I absolutely love their rivalry.
I like how Valt didnt randomly just come in the fray and Shu is like welp your my rival now. I like how they were friends since the very beginning. Valt inspiring Shu to become a blader then Building off that inspiration to become a pro blader himself. After becoming a pro blader and a Spin emperor it was his turn to inspire Valt. And through Shu’s inspiration Valt decided to take Blading more seriously as well wanting to show Shu just how strong he would get and wanting to give Shu the best battle he could ever ask for in the district and national finals. Shu was already a blader who pushed himself but When the nationals finally got around he pushed himself harder than before not just to beat Lui but to face Valt to fulfill their promise to meet in the finals. After the nationals with neither winning Shu went to the ranging Bulls to improve himself hoping that Valt would step up his game as well. Shu being Shu was dominating the team matches while Valt had a bit of troubling start but still grew stronger regardless. When Shu was reported ‘missing’ Valt put everything on hold just to find him but ran across someone else using Spriggan, that being “red eye” but little did Valt know he was staring Shu right in the face not knowing the the dark path he took. *one snake pit arc later* Valt and Red eye both improve their skills, which is shown by them both taking down members of the big 5. When Shu faces lui and his identity gets revealed Shu shows Valt just how much hes changed and Valt just watched in sadness as he couldnt do anything to help. When Shu goes to make requriem he sees Valkyrie. Even though Hes defeated Valt twice before you can still tell he sees him as a rival and one of his strongest challenges. After creating the new spriggan shu is more darker than before now destroying every blader in his path and is too far gone. But even after Valts previous losses against Shu he still stood up to face him in the finals of the tournament just like they promised back then and was able to reach out to him in the final clash this time being Victorious and crowned as chmpion. They were rivals who started out walking on the same path and later split to become stronger through different means one through absolute power and one through fun and bonding both paths that would lead up to them meeting once more to have their fated battle and to walk on the same road once again.
Edit: wow i wrote a lot more than i thought i was.

I think some misunderstand Valt's arc as a character and his main theme. Valt's character theme is potential. From the very beginning people, especially Shu, took note of Valt's natural potential and through both seasons 1&2 we see Valt working to fullfil that potential and he has to work through his own self doubt and issues of identity to finally fulfill that untapped natural talent and he did so wonderfully by finally defeating his greatest rival and his crowning as World Champion. The way he came full circle It was almost like poetry.

Because of that Determination And potential Valt has proved himself time and time again as “the Legend of Legends” the worlds number 1 ranking and strongest blader. Because no matter how many times Valt losses he would still be the stronger/strongest blader, which has been consistently potrayed in his character for both the anime and manga. His character development is really what makes me enjoy his character and makes me repsect how much he has grown. But part of his development is because of Shu and the same goes for shu. To be honest shu abd Valt probably has the best characters devolpment out of all the cast you get through point A and B. Than you Get Lui, Aiga, Delta and lastly Gwynn theue character arc is fully completed their evolutions. Free and sisco also got something going for them as well

Missing a few characters. Also just to point something out, Silas'arc is one of the best in franchise. His is well executed and relatable. When it comes to character work he's absolutely in the top tier. Ken and Daigo as well. Such excellent work was done with them, but it unfortunately gets overlooked sometimes. In fact I'd put both Silas' and Daigo's arcs above Aiger's and Lui for example. This is why I do these character arc breakdowns; to shine a light on the really good character work Burst has done, especially with characters that are underrated and passed over.
If I had to list the top 5 best written characters from best to worst:
1. Shu
2. Delta
3. Valt
4. Lui
5. Gwyn
Honorable mentions: Arman, Lane, Daigo, Aiger
