Honestly, people really highball this feat to ridiculous heights. Valt and Rantaro had been constantly bashing Lane throughout that battle to the point where Lucifer was wobbling and heavily offset (this was even stressed in the anime) after that, Lane had to use up his limit break special move to take out Rantaro (while in his weakened state) and Valt still had to catch Lane off guard with a special move while-lastly, Lane did not even counter with a special move of his own putting him at a massive disadvantage. Valt beat Lane by attacking him whilst he was; caught completely off guard by a surprise attack, in a heavily worn down and weakened state, out of his resource due to using up his limit break and by attacking him with a special move while Lane did not counter with a move (or any attack) of his own. The ridiculous amount of handicaps in this victory make it pretty clear that Valt hardly took Lane out. He may have beat Shu, but he won by half a second and this is the same battle where Shu straight up tanked a tag move from Valt and Rantaro. Valt is my favourite character and all but please, don't overplay his actual skill.
At the end of the day he beat Lane and Shu with Rantaro, he had enough stamina to beat World Spriggan after beating Lucifer The End. Plus Lucifer was regaining power when Lane activated the avatar. Valt beat him when he had the free spinning ring, that's much more impressive than simply beating Lucifer The End. Plus Shu already beat Lucifer The End too, in the same episode in the training.
¨At the end of the day he beat Lane and Shu with Rantaro, he had enough stamina to beat World Spriggan after beating Lucifer The End.¨
Valt and Rantaro both beat Lane, it was an absolute team effort, Valt stood no chance on his own. Also, it was arguably pretty easy to conserve stamina when him and Rantaro were knocking Lane into complete submission, Valkyrie sustained almost no strain since Lucifer couldn't really fight back (and Shu did not really attack Valkyrie until later). Shu tanking synchro lightning (a move that eliminated both Free and Silas at once) would cause far more stamina loss and damage.
¨Plus Lucifer was regaining power when Lane activated the avatar.¨
Lucifer did not regain power, beys dont regain their spin velocity when they call out their avatars or activate resonance, Lucifer simply moved into a stable position in order to use limit break the end. Hyuga did he exact same thing with Hyperion in the legends festival and Hyperion did not regain power, just slightly increased its stability and held out long enough. Besides, even if I were to go by that logic, there are still multiple other handicaps that devalue the feat.
¨Plus Shu already beat Lucifer The End too, in the same episode in the training.¨
Shu beat Lane in a simple training battle, that really doesn't mean much at all. If Valt truly could have beat Lane in a 1v1 he wouldn´t have needed 4 different advantages.
¨Valt beat him when he had the free spinning ring, that's much more impressive than simply beating Lucifer The End.¨
It isn't ¨much more impressive¨ when considering the fact that the ¨limit break the end¨ move would demolish Valt if Lane had that resource. Besides, Lucifer had next to no energy left due to being heavily weakened so it really did not matter anyway.
Not bad eh?
