It’s kinda funny when he does it for a little while but if he does it for some prolonged time then it does get pretty irritating. As for Gwynn, he’s definitely a great character plus I love the idea that his life is submerged in math as opposed to his surroundings and relations. The the way he battles is generally more mathematical than organic which is something never before seen in the history of beyblade and his bond with Genesis is that of two people working towards a common goal as opposed to two friends.(Jul. 28, 2020 9:59 PM)kai edits Wrote: Drum is overrated and give gwynn is better cause he has real character development unlike drum

Drum is actually underrated since most people just focus on the fact that he yells and is kinda similar to valt. Sadly not a lot of people actually look at his character, and he doesn't have plot armor he just gets gradually stronger. Gwyn is definitely underrated though. He's so well written, I hope we get another character like him.
Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts
I can appreciate Drum more now that he's not the main character since he was too similar to Valt. I do agree with the part where he didn't have too much plot armor, more than Valt, less than Aiga imo. His similarity to Valt makes me like Aiga better as a main, even with the bad writing.
Gwyn is underrated though, like Zeutron and kai edits stated. Nicely written character and I'd like to see his changes and how it mixes with his old personality. Too bad we probably won't see him in the Sparking anime. Maybe the Sparking manga?

honestly his similarity to Valt isn't much of a problem cause when you think about it, Valt was just a normal out going protagonist, so its not as much of a problem like me. I also cant see how just being slightly like another character makes ALL of Aiga's terrible problems void, but to each their own I guess.

I agree with Zuetron. It's actually the opposite. Drum is actually underrated. As far as plot armor is concerned, Drum didn't really have any. He progressively grew in power. If anyone had plot armor, I'd say it was Gwyn. His skyrocketing power was insane.

I second Kai. Gwyn was always smart so even if he has a shaky launch he can easily calculate a way to win. And he had a super strong bey to begin with anyways.

Well its not really a burst problem it happens in general For any anime, manga, light novel, web novel or comics. Its simply business writers create characters And the once that break out stays revelent or even so even sometimes the character was meant to always be relevent. Same appplies to burst or beyblade in general the original, metal saga all had specific characters that are the writers prizes

How does math equal to extreme blading ability. He was taking out extremely powerful and experienced bladers after only a few days.

I second Kai. Gwyn was always smart so even if he has a shaky launch he can easily calculate a way to win. And he had a super strong bey to begin with anyways.
Math doesn't give a Blader prowess of level Gwyn was displaying. It seemed a bit unreasonable to me.

Oh no i understoood what you meant I Just didnt go to long on the post. Now as For fumiya And lodin even blind too one of the issues with these guys is Hiro unconsciously or consciously Who knows it might have been a preference For him. Was to give longinus And fafnir to them now i dont usually care that much two people having same bey but I that part it failed And both characters got bash by fans unfortunatly For them. Hiro shouldve simply give then new beys And Just do what they did with lord put it in booster they wouldve sell no matter what I mean gt got like what 4 or 5 bases with reuse chip these couldve easely been other beys with different chips.

Do you use math in beyblade no right so don't even get me started with the equations

Bladers do that even without math so how does that explain the fact that he was blowing away these bladers. We didn't even see Gwyn use math in that way. Did we see him calculating distances, analyzing bey structure, or calculating launch trajectories?
First of all every battle in real life is won by physics and math.. however in the anime it is different
