Blader Tribute:
The Legend of Legends, the Wonder Boy,
Valt Aoi

"Valt is a cheerful and energetic boy who is very passionate about Beyblade. He has a strong bond with his Bey Valtryek, and this relationship is one of the factors that motivates him to become a better Blader. Even though he can be a little over-enthusiastic at times, he manages to become friends with anyone as if he’s known them for years." -

Beyblade Burst QuadDrive Official Bio

The character that began it all for the Burst saga. His journey from underestimated new blader to the strongest in the world is proof positive of his determination and iron will. He worked to bone to become the best balder there is, all the while maintaining his carefree, outgoing nature. He's an inspiration to bladers everywhere. The conquerable Legend of Legends, Number 1 Blader and World Champion, Valt Aoi.
I absolutely love this. Valt out of all the characters definitely had the best journey. From a underestimated goofball who constantly battled self doubt and strong rivals who looked down on him to “the legend of legends” the worlds strongest blader who has grown wiser with age, helping out others and inspiring the entire blading world. Tbh Valt changed the entire blading world just think about how many things were different before he came along, he really made a positive ever lasting presence in the world. One thing that someone brought up, is that Rashad in the manga had a small bio that says he “is currently the number 1 ranked” from start to end like well normal bio’s. But Valt successfully reclaimed the ranking. So if the ranking changed from rashad to valt regardless of what Rashads bio stated then why doesn’t the strongest spot switch with bell or other characters, ect (regardless of what Valts bio’s states). The reason for that is Valt has ultimately proven himself to be the Worlds Strongest blader countless times hence why Valt was specifically given the title: “the legend of legends” because he’s ultimately the number 1 ranked and worlds strongest blader. (The worlds top blader/the greatest blading legend on the planet).
Valt Aoi: “the legend of legends”-The Number 1 Ranked, Worlds strongest blader, the true crowned champion, and the greatest blading legend on the planet.

He truly did change the whole blading world. He influenced so many people over the course of his rise to World Champion and after becoming the champ, bladers all over came to look to him as a real inspiration; as one of his bio's put it, "the gold standard for bladers everywhere." Then we also see him training the next generation of Bladers. Some major powerhouse bladers trained under him at BC Sol. I love that we closed the book on Burst with him still standing at the pinnacle of the blading world as it's strongest blader. He really had an incredible journey across the saga.

Yea Valt was really a one of a kind blader. After he became champion in his victorious battle with Shu. Valt really put smiles on everyones faces and encouraged countless bladers changing the world forever for bladers everywhere. Valt was even crowned the FIRST legendary blader when Aiga was still champion in gt which shows that the world still saw him as the top dog. Even some of the baddies had a high level of respect for Valt which shows just how strong of a presence Valt has in the blading world. And Even though Bell claims the champion title at the end of the manga (kinda salty but proud for bell at the same time). Valt still ultimately ends off BOTH the Manga and anime as the “legend of legends”- the number 1 ranked and worlds strongest Blader (The greatest blading legend on the planet) and in the anime Valt even keeps the world champion title as well which definitely is a plus. But yea Valt has definitely had a great journey throughout burst and he was a really amazing character who showed the true value of blading and having fun. Just like you Im happy that both the anime and manga ended off with Valt standing at the top of the blading world as “The Legend of Legends”- The number 1 ranked and Worlds strongest blader.

The World's Ultimate Blader

Beyblade makes a cameo appearance in this week's chapter of 都市伝説先生ウラモン (Urband Legend Teacher Uramon).
Check it out here: https://www.corocoro.jp/episode/3270296674374719523    Ask me if you want the summary/spoilers for what's happening.  Nice to know that Uramon's students are bladers.
So im sorta confused now. I was re-reading db manga chapter 8 or 9 and something caught my attention unlike the first time around. When they were introducing the challengers for the title match they introduced Valt as “the current world champion and legend of legends” but when they were introducing rashad they said “on the other hand of this dynamic battle, he ran his way up to the no1 position in the world” how would rashad be the number 1 if in the exact same chapter Valt was called the “legend of legends” the number 1 ranked legend (blader). Unless they were saying that Rashad was a blader who made his way to the current no.1 position in the world (an achievement) until Valt beat him reclaiming the rank, ig it makes sense, since Rashad after that moment was never mentioned with/as the no.1 rank ever again. Again kinda confusing but just like hikaru said: Valt is the legend of legends because “he’s ranked first/1 among the legends”

Edit: Tbh it might just be a throw away line because after this instance Rashad is never again mentioned with the rank or is called “the current no.1 blader” unlike the start where they would call him that in every battle/announcement. On top of that before Valt defeated Rashad he was only called a legend. Only after defeating him Valt was once again called the legend of legends going forward.
Or possibility they made Valts title lose its meaning after sparking and just call him that.
Maybe i answered my own question.

Before Valt reclaimed his spot, he was simply called a legend and it was said in one of the panels that he was formerly ranked no. 1 amongst the Legends. After beating Rashad he was once again referred to as the Legend of Legends and ranked first amongst the Legends.

I understand that part. Even Hikaru mentions it in sparking thats one of the reasons why hes called the legend of legends
Hikaru: “The legend of all legends of course!!! Valt Aoi!!! Hes ranked first among the legends!!

And his bio confirms that another reason hes called the legend of legends is that hes the worlds strongest blader
Valt Aoi (DB):Is called the “legend of legends”, the worlds strongest blader.

Even in the chapter after Valt defeated Rashad Valt is announced as: “the current world champion and legend of legends”-the number 1 ranked and strongest legend (blader).

What i got confused on is right after Valt defeated rashad. The wbba hosted a championship challenger deciding match. For who would challenge Valt for the title. when they introduce rashad on his side they say “on the other hand of this dynamic battle, he ran his way up to the no1 position in the world” and hes still called the hero/main character of the blading world (even though i believe rashad title has NOTHING to do with rank but his goal to lead everyone like a main character) doesnt that line practically go against what was said about Valt being the no.1?

Edit: also valt was confirmed to be ranked first among the legends again? Ik it said that in sparking and he was called “the current champion and legend of legends” after defeating rashad but i didnt know they specifically stated that he was once again ranked first among the legends again. Unless the legend of legends title is the exact line.

They mentioned in the opening panel of Vol 20 that Valt is ranked No. 1 in the legend rankings. As for that bit about Rashad, I can only chock that up to either a throw away line as you mentioned, discrepancy, or that the announcer was mentioning his previous achievement of having reached the Number 1 ranked before. Also both Rashad and Bell were battling to see who would take on Valt making it clear he was ranked above them both.

Yea because there was a similar line that happened in the anime so that just threw me completely off. But thats what made me consider it was just a throw away line based off of what was already confirmed in multiple sources. But yea i agree with what you said. It was most likely just a throw away line/past achievement. An achievement that would be a reason for why rashad was chosen as a challenger.

Also weren't they challenging valt for the title? Why would the rank have anything to do with that? Its no longer connected to the title.

And really? I didnt know/didnt see that. All i saw was info boxes that said “Valt was a legendary blader who won the world tournament twice in a row” and “Rashad is currently no.1 in the world”
The only opening panel i can think of that gets close to that description is “The current world champion and legend of legends” which is chapter 8 i think. Where was it mentioned and what did it say?

I don't know what to tell you. I'm looking right at it. It says "a Legendary blader who won the beyblade world championship for the second time in a row and has returned to the championship. No. 1 in the legend ranking."

Hm well thanks for answering with the info you had, sorry if this dragged on or became much. I didnt mean for this to go on longer than 1 or two post (from me) The manga is just sometimes confusing when it comes to certain events. So ig more questions just popped up. Well again still thanks for looking/answering at my base question. Sorry if this went on for so long.

Summary: Valt before his battle with rashad was only called a legend and was mentioned to be formally ranked 1. But After defeating Rashad in the champion title match Valt was once again called the “legend of legends” which confirms that Valt did reclaim the no.1 ranking. There was also an extra panel in the manga that confirms/states that Valt is “No.1 in the legend ranking (worldwide)”
so Valt ultimately ends both the anime and manga as the “legend of legends”-the number 1 ranked and worlds strongest blader (Legend)

Edit: i also think part of it was a translation issue. Where it added “current” to the sentence.
“he ran his way up to the no.1 position” (past tense) not the current no.1 position since Valt atm would be the current no.1 hence the name “legend of legends” the no.1 legend (blader).

Is that even a question? Phi is a Monster that'll devour everything in his sight and when he gets serious you might as well break your Bey yourself because he'll destroy it bit by bit and crush your spirit so you'll never want to play with your Spinny Tops ever again. But in all seriousness, Phi has a lot of Raw Power and is an Alien while the only thing Lean really has going for him is Plot Armor and Flare. It'll probably be a pretty quick battle especially since Phi's Power is amazing and he's only lost 2 Battles, (Technically 3 but he threw the battle so I don't count that as an actual loss. Anyways, Phi would totally win and completely destroy Lean. Lean had an Awful Good Run but he doesn't stand a chance against Phi.

I think Shu is probably my favourite (with Lui coming in with a very close second).
I wont add the same old members because then it would literally be the same but with valt replacing zac so:
1. Valt
2. Free
3. Wakiya
4. Rantaro (I hate him but he's an OG)
Fake BU anime trailers are here, but they're all just poor crops on the thumbnails.
Burst is more realistic (except for resonance and all it's lazy offspring. Oh, also the 5 minute battles, exaggerated, gimmicks, etc., etc.) While Ryuga tries to take over the world with a small plastic top that *gasp* spins LEFT. Burst is about a tournament for a sport.

Something really disappointing ne is that they canceled the anime, not the toy. I thought it might just be the next generation of blading, but... no, we still get burst, but no show. Not sure what I would have preferred.

"My whole life I've been surrounded by numbers."

When we first meet Gwyn he's very much living a sheltered life steeped in his very mechanical view of the world. After meeting Dante however, this perfect order begins to unravel. When they battle, instead of shattering as he predicted it would, Dragon came out of the battle intact. It survived. This frustrated the carefully calculated outcome Gwyn envisioned.

"Everything can be described with equations."

For the first time his calculations didn't provide the perfectly predictable answer born from the razor sharp precision he was used to achieving. From then on we see the carefully structured shell of predictability he constructed around himself continue to unravel. And he spends the majority of the season trying to maintain it. Maintain his grip on what he believes the world to be.

"Everything in the world can be explained by numbers."

Again and again the friendship between Dante, Delta and Arman defy this idea. The way they increase each other's strength in battle and the way their support pushes each other forward. The idea that friendship between people can empower them is something that can't be measured or calculated which is something that is non-existent in the perfectly manicured world of numbers and equations that Gwyn created for himself. Which they did a great job visualizing.

When this fundamental aspect to his thought process was challenged, it threw his understanding of the world into chaos. He thought things like friends were a waste of time. Dante was the focal point for this frustration of his worldview and it's for this reason he declared his for hatred Dante.

It was only once he understands there is more to the world and to life than the equations he wrapped himself in was he able to find joy in something beyond the mathematical.

He finally understood their was more to life than what he'd been surrounded by in his sheltered existence. Gwyn's arc is a lesson in expanding one's horizons beyond what they're surrounded by. There's much to know beyond what we're accustomed to. Gwyn is a unique antagonist among the pantheon of Beyblade adversaries and a welcome one with clear characterization and depth.

Who is everyones favorite and least favorite member of the spin emperors?
And if you could make a new set of spin emperors who would the 4 be?

I think Shu is probably my favourite (with Lui coming in with a very close second).
I wont add the same old members because then it would literally be the same but with valt replacing zac so:
1. Valt
2. Free
3. Wakiya
4. Rantaro (I hate him but he's an OG)

You cant really put free since his european and stays theirs as well.  Better put Daina or Ken even others thats more an Japan remember supreme 4 is a national Japan group.
