(Apr. 06, 2021  5:38 PM)Zeutron Wrote: 1: My bad on that first mistake. Yes, Rago acknowledged the fact that Ryuga stood against him for so long, there’s no doubt about that. However, it was ultimately just a long game Rago as playing with Ryuga where he had foreseen his defeat earlier. Rago was actually trying to beat Kenta, not play with him. He was pretty much going all out at that point.

2: Actually, Nemesis was said to not even be using half its power. Ryuga may have lasted longer but Rago was playing around him with for a good chunk of that match. Before the black sun had consumed most of the world, Kenta was matching Rago who was actively trying to eliminate him at that point with no holds barred (since the four season bladers were together thus, creating the possibility of sealing Nemesis away) and even then, they were momentarily equal when they brought out their aura’s. It was practically a stalemate since Aguma was the one who held Kenta back by telling him to complete Zeus’s barrier.

3: In the metal fight anime damaging someone’s bey is a big deal. Kenta damaging L-Drago was effectively a kick in the face for Ryuga and it’s pretty much the follow up to the “the brief moment that made him serious.” It obviously affected him tbh

4: Withstanding one of Gingka’s special moves in an non-climactic scenario is definitely not that crazy and being a legendary blader doesn’t really make you all that powerful by itself, he got one shotted by Pluto after all. His anti feats outweigh anything good he has actually done and there are plenty of non legendary bladers with better feats.

1: That's also not true. If Nemesis would of went full power, that would literally SPELL the end of Kenta. The star fragment evolution was such a surpise a HUGE comeback, that even Rago was baffled. He didn't know the abilities of the newly evolved bey of Kenta, and it should also be noted that Nemesis didn't have the shadow counterpart of Kenta's bey as Nemesis did of all other beys.

2: It wasn't a stalemate. Kenta would've lost easily. You realize, Nemesis was caught off guard and did not know of any power of sagittario.

3. Yes the first sentence is true. But, the only reason kenta managed to barely scratch L Drago was because the attack was in the sky, and breaking or bursting or flicking a bey outside of a stadium's a BIG deal, not just scratching it.
4:  It should also be noted that Pluto was a strong blader, and the person didn't know of any abilities of Pluto's bey, and even Kenta had a lot of trouble fending out firefuse darkhelm. The reason why Dynamis got one shotted was that Dynamis wasn't ready for the attack, and the attack was from above, almost any bey except for Nemesis and L Drago would've been sent wobbling by the attack.

1: Nemesis was most definitely going full power. Rago never said that he was holding back and he had no reason to either seeing as the legendary bladers actually had a chance to stop him. Nemesis did have the power of Kenta’s bey, we just never saw him use it directly against Kenta, it was established that Nemesis had the power of all the legends as well as the beys of all the bladers they had fought, plus he used flash saggitario when fighting Gingka.

2: Kenta didn’t really know much about Nemesis either, all he really knew was the same thing everyone knew “it was the god of destruction.” He had only been fighting for a few moments before Flame Saggitario began to get annihilated and its ascension into Flash Saggitario only occurred a little bit afterward. And while Rago was caught off guard, he clearly dismissed his worries evident by his reaction to Madoka directly describing Flash Saggitario’s abilities, he says “that doesn’t matter” before unleashing his powerful aura.

3: Putting a huge dent in a bey as powerful as L-Drago wis definitely a big deal. As a matter of fact, they only bey to do that up until that point was Gingka with the power of 3 different bladers. I also don’t think it had to do only with the fact that it was a Sky attack. There had to be some emotional significance to the power Kenta received.

4: Getting one shotted is still pretty saddening. If he really was all that strong, he should have at least survived the attack, not been eliminated. Doubt he would fare all that well in a real match if that’s the best he could do. It’s not like the circumstances were all that unfair either. Pluto was definitely very powerful, but if you are a blader worthy of being in the top 10 it seems pretty rediculous for you to get knocked out in a single hit in a scenario like that.

Tubasa, Damian, Dasahian and Julian can go S-teir cause those bladers were the best/strongest bladers in the championship after Gingka and Masemnae. And Yuki, honestly he should go C, he did nothing execpt scream at the top of his lugns that made him a a legendary blader(And got dominated by Rugua after that).
S teir-Normal Gingka, Rygua, Kenta, Kyoya, Chris, King, Masemunae, Aguma, Diamais, Faust, Helios, Tubasa, Damian, Dasahian and Julian.

I agreed with the the tier list . haha yea yuki is just..man till this day i still feel annoyed that he was a legendary blader yea I get it he had the knowledge but he didn't need the star fragment for that at all . their should've been a twist that instead of yuki being an actual legendary blader kenta was actually the last legend & yuki was just holding the star for him until kenta was ready that would've been great twist.

He isn't dead. In the manga of Shogun Steel, it was shown that Ryuga was well. Stop spreading false information
Here is my opinion.

I think Aiga Akaba in the anime was a big missed opportunity
I like him in the manga. He got too prideful and disrespected his partner, Valt taught him not too, and he reshaped his bond with his partner. But in the anime they had to do weird stuff and have dark resonance which was very convenient when the writers needed to give Aiga a reason to win. Also when he made his new bey it felt rushed.

Yeah that whole dark resonace thing was garbage to me. It could have just been something else like a bad attidude.

Imagine in the anime after Rygua gave the star fregment to Kenta, he ran away from the temple.

Here’s my retrospective:
Getting prideful and disrepecting Achilles makes him the best since it doesn’t make him immune to any darkness like the other protagonists before him. As for him using dark resonance to win, it may seem like a plot device at first but what it does is really show the unnatural power gained by it which really shows to us that dark resonance is really something terrifying which therefore makes Phi all the more menacing.

I'm inclined to agree, but the concept, while fairly good and unique, stil doesn't justify the flawed execution of an entire arc. That could've been the best opportunity to give Aiga some very meaningful development during the arc itself if done right, but since it got screwed over we came to see Resonance (especially the dark variant) as a plot device instead (and not just at first, it goes on until Ep 37 which is a veeeery long time) and he himself doesn't change his attitude one bit until Achilles breaks, and that wasn't what was supposed to happen.

Granted, it's not the single worst plot device ever, that title goes to Flare, but it was still a wasted opportunity to do so much with the mystical powers in the series.

Dark resonance is a classic example of Deus Ex Machina. I understand what they were trying to do, but the means by which they tried to accomplish it, was truly lazy, bad writing. The way the manga executed it was far superior. It making Aiger different than the previous protagonists doesn't negate the fact that it was poorly written. I agree with every point you made.

Really recommend any Beyblade Metal Saga fans give this video a watch since it explains a lot about Ryuga's fate, as well as all the discourse between what happens to him in the anime vs the manga (which are two separate canons, apparently!), all explained by the creator of the series himself, Takafumi Adachi! He, himself, finds it hard to believe there is still so much speculation about it, as the series ended so long ago, but when he live streams it is always a question he is asked, and so he made this whole separate video to help explain it! I thought it was a really interesting look into the behind-the-scenes work of manga to anime adaptation, as well!

It looks like it. I don't see Zac on this cover maybe Silas was originally going to be one of the Supreme 4.

According to God Dragruler that seemingly is the reason why. He was meant to be part of the supreme 4 but got replaced by Zac.
But is there any proof of this? I mean like it’s not like they plotted god ahead of time.

They didn't, but there are statements that Sisco was supposed to be in the main cast of S1 (First Valt arc), and then something happened and his debut got delayed until the start of God. I personally don't know all the details.

He probably did, unless it's been confirmed otherwise. The Valt arc spans from Burst to God in the anime, but it was too long so it was split up into 2 seasons. I would imagine he had everything planned out while working on it.

Ot was confirmed in a Q and A that the first 2 seasons of burst were planned beforehand. After s3 onwards its being continously renewed.
