Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts

I've been translating Bakuten Shoot every now and then on Youtube. Dunno if the group around here has seen these yet:

@[Siliva] Oh wow, thank you so much! Could you upload these somewhere as DDL's so that we can keep a master list on the forums?

Not a problem, though I'd like to either have the OP myself if I could, so I can edit it at my own pace. Or add them or DranzerX13's Bakuten Shoot stickied thread or something like that. I'll leave that decision up to you all, since I don't really hang around here all thaaaaaat often (I like to come and go in spurts).

That being said, I'd like to make the point that while I've been picking up the pace on these recently, it's still rather sporadic when I do them. I was originally only going to focus on the latter half of G-Revolution, but I think I'll just do episodes I like across all three seasons. I already have a 2002 episode done (just needs a spellcheck).

I'm glad you guys are enjoying what I've done so far. Of course I would love to translate all of Bakuten Shoot, but I don't really have that time. So, for now, I'll just do parts I really like, or that are very different from the dub or something. Maybe the occasional request, depending on how hard the episode is? We'll see. Either way, keep your eyes peeled for more. I'd love to discuss the Japanese version in detail as I finish more episodes.
Yeah, I don't really feel the need to see every episode of any of these shows. But it would be amazing to watch the highlights.

Looking forward to that! Great ep!
Just do what you want, having anything is better than nothing and we appreciate you even touching this regardless. Smile But it would be great if you kept a thread giving DDL links as well as streaming links for each episode that you do.
Hiro Morita, author of Beyblade Burst Manga, just posted on Twitter this link, which tell us some information about the anime, comming probably in April next year.

Here's the poster.
Where does it say that it will come in April ? I think the rest of the information was already known though.

The spring anime season usually starts in April, so... I thought that it can be in April, since it says that it will start in spring. Also, I thought the art from the poster interesting.

And I corrected my previous post, just put a "probably in April" over there. Sorry.
Kinda late, most the anime beyblade's will be out by then, right?
Hm, the staff so far is quite underwhelming in my opinion, all people from OLM and who previously worked on Pocket Monster Advance Generation and Inazuma Eleven. I suppose that might be a good thing though, since clearly a change was in order to make this really a new Beyblade series.

Right. The releases are following the manga, even though the anime is the main way to advertise the products I guess...
To be honest, I am surprised that Valkyrie Wing Accel will even be used in the anime. My theory is that they will introduce all-new Beyblades/a new system either early or right at the beginning of the anime, but all of these anime teasers are saying a whole other thing ...

Yeah, because PHW didn't even showed in the anime, and even in the manga it was used for 4 or 5 chapters and then, hybrid wheel showed up. But according to the poster in addition to the info in that link, the anime is already being developed and it will be with Valky... I hope to see something new in the manga, like it was with hybrid wheel system before.

Wow the opening for episode 30 is a lot better than the opening from the dub. Those random beyblades being destroyed in battle is cool (although not really representative of what happens unless it's a villain's beyblade). Can't say I liked the one from episode 35 though.

Well hey, seems like someone forgot that Rauls beyblade was blue, OOPS!

I'm biased but I like pretty much all of Bakuten Shoot's openings for different reasons. Identified (the second G-Revolution opening) doesn't "really" fit the tone of the show at that point, but it feels very much like the last opening of the show. I think it wraps things up nicely.

Identified was also first OP I translated myself (Go Ahead was cleaned up using the official DVDs as a base), which was a lot of fun. Translating all the songs is one of my favorite parts of subbing episodes.

Well, they're definitely not gonna show us the new stuff now, but they need to show something. It's not impossible the anime starts with Valkyrie but is quickly upgraded.
I don't know which is worse: Bakuten eng sub or Metal masters eng sub. LOL

MFB had a worse dub.
At least Bakuten was interesting regardless and had some good music.
Wow, as a fan who followed both generations and who was more interested in the anime than the toys especially for Bakuten Shoot Beyblade, the latter had a much more terrible dub than Metal Fight Beyblade, no contest.
Bakuten eng sub seems lacking character. I don't know. Maybe because it was just the first anime. While MFB.. it's getting better, but sometimes I really can't stand Ginga's voice.

EDIT: Specially when he says "Huh?" "Meteo L Drago, huh?" "Brazilian team, huh?" "Peygasis" Tired
It's because it was mostly kids in the Bakuten dub. Although that could be true for MFB too, I don't actually know.
It was really not just the voice actors, it was also the whole series of bad decisions for the music, name changes, story changes, cuts, episode title changes, etc.
I personally thought the music from the kakuten series dub was awesome. Was disappointed when the music from MFB was nowhere near as good. Also I can't stand the MFB dub due to the horrible voices.
