Because one of our notorious SPAMmers (not a bot) was using it to attach unacceptable images. He used to come back very randomly, so we took no risk. Plus, people who used it were mostly newbies who attached huge pictures anyway.
Questions about the WBO
Just wondering after reading the BeyPoints Queue; is there any idea when AN will be processed?
I'm not trying to sound impatient or rude, I'm mainly asking since it said it was "Blocked by Blocker 1", Blocker 1 being a tournament on April 6, I believe, that the results and fees weren't submitted for?

There are some issues with the results from that April 6th tournament, but they were already processed, so I suppose that the events of Anime North 2014 will be processed whenever Kei has a lot of free time next.
I just got a new tab paged opened and it say it's an "official WBO Survey" and then my Anti-Virus came up saying threat. Does the WBO even have anything like that?
We definitely do not have such a survey.
So just wondering, since I plan on hosting in under a week from today, if AN isn't processed in that time, would I still have to pay $5? I renewed my Passport there, but since it's yet to be processed, my face hasn't showed up for it.

No no, you paid and we have proof of it, so consider that you have a valid Blader Passport right now.
Sorry, but is the spoiler button and re-sizing of images broken for anyone else?
All these years of WBO-ing have gotten me thoroughly confused.
I think "regular posters", "moderators", and "admins" were the only positions on the WBO, but there have been changes over the years with the addition of "advanced members" and also what appears to be posters with names in regular font who are able to close threads). Could someone update me on what the different positions and their powers are please? Thanks very much!

Actually, the moderators/Admins are kind of the same thing. The Adavanced members are members chosen by the comittee who show excellent skill in the Beyblade hobby itself.
It is more about knowledge and dedication than skills.
Forum moderators currently have no stylised usernames, but their moderating powers are generally restricted to their specific forum.
Global Moderators can moderate all over the message board, and can also contribute to Committee discussions to an extent, but all important decisions and actions are done by Committee Members, as administrators.

Ah ok thanks. Any chance of clarification on thread closing and warning powers? Being an "advanced member" is about beyblading skill/ability as opposed to knowledge?
I think we posted approximately at the same time. Check my reply above yours.

Edit: Thank you Kai-V and TheWhiteTiger!
Posting at the same time has messed up the reply order/sense, but I do understand your explanations.

What event happened at AN before Crusade?
Was "Bey Brad" always his first username on here? He has no username changes, but when I look at old threads quotes it says "Tamer Brad" just curious.

Big events every year, by Brad at the beginning. They were just not necessarily 'international' because there was no budget back then to pay for people's traveling expenses.

Someone else would have to remember the names before 2009 though ...

Tamer Brad was his original username. There was probably a time before those changes were monitored.

AN04: Tag Beybattle Revolution
AN05: Grand Battle Tournament
AN08: BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD!
AN09: BEYBLADE WAR ROOM
AN10: BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP
AN11: BEYBLADE CRUSADE
AN12: BEYBLADE CRUSADE 2
AN13: BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: WBO North American Championship
AN14: GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2: WBO North American Championship 2014
As you can see, there was a gap between '05 and '08 because OtC had closed and nobody else stepped up to take over while Brad was inactive (for the most part), and the community in general was fragmented across several different sites in the second half of 2005 and part of 2006 until Beybladeforums.com, and subsequently, Beywiki came around in 2007.
That's strange, I swore I had looked once and saw he had username changes.
Just out of curiosity, if one were to co-host an event, would they receive one more additional credit on top of the ones they already earnt?
Thanks!
Thanks!
