I have Phantom already so is it necessary to get Scythe?
Purchase Consultation (MFB + Burst)
No, Phantom is much better. EDS is eh but B D is better

Like hitsugiya said, EDS can be used on a variety of heights, B:D on only one height, and B:D is really easy to KO and has incredibly low defense even with that angled launch technique from what I've noticed during my unofficial testing sessions.
I'll be honest, I really wish I had bought something other than Phantom Orion when it came out, it isn't as 'game-breaking' as everyone expected.

I've been out of the loop for December, so someone tell me what you would buy next with this collection:
I guess I can throw my ego out the window now. Advanced-orock Shmoctorok, I'll still ask questions like these. As you can see, I'm pretty far behind in Beyblades. Tell me maybe two, three, four? I haven't been keeping up, but I'll start catching up after this week! I'll be buying the Beyblades on December 26th by the way.

Phantom, Death, Vari, Beat.
UDX if you want to spend 70+ USD on one MW.

4 Storm Pegasus's? Blasphemy! I'd get Death, Duo, Scythe, Phantom, Variares, and Beat.
1. Duo
2. Phantom
3. Beat
4. Variares
5. Scythe
6. Death
Edit: In my opinion of course

I would, personally, go for the following:
VariAres
Death Quetz
You COULD Beat Lynx, if you want a TH170. Plus, you have Basalt so it couldn't hurt.
Duo=Death, but in a near-worthless set with one useful bey (exaggerating a teeny tiny bit, lol)
VariAres>Blitz, though both are great.
VariAres and Death Quetzalcoatl would be at the top of my list. Beat Lynx is more of a bonus, as Beat isn't as great as VariAres and Blitz, and Duo comes, like I said, in a set where it is the main reason to buy it and the rest are simply not amazing.
EDIT: Snap! Forgot to mention something about Phantom!
Eh, Hazel explained enough XD

Is 1 Death Quetzalcoatl,1 Hell Kerbecs, and 1 Beat Lynx worth it for $38?
(Dec. 14, 2011 3:40 AM)MFB_LDrago_MFB Wrote: Is 1 Death Quetzalcoatl,1 Hell Kerbecs, and 1 Beat Lynx worth it for $38?Death Quetz is usually found at the 20-25 dollar mark, Hell Kerbecs around 15 (slightly less) and the SK release of Beat Lynx is usually around the 15-17 mark at its lowest. I'd say it is a good deal
Yep, that's quite a good price. Beat's worth roughly $15ish, and same for Death (if not more for both) and a Hell Kerbecs for $8 is a good deal anyday.
Also should I get it for X-Mas or wait for some new releases?
I'd say get those. RDF is a great tip, Death isn't half bad, Beat is a damn good attack wheel (me gusta MF Beat Lynx CH120RF), TH170 is so versatile and good at defense it isn't even funny, and then there's Hell Kerbecs, which has BD145 which has been a metagame staple since nearly its original release. Hell isn't half bad for attack either when not paired with BD145.
I have USD36, is getting a Vulcan Horogium BD145RS ($20). I'm aware that Vulcan is outclassed but I still think it would be a fun part to mess around with. If I do buy it, it would be for the transparent BD145 (I think it looks really cool) and Vulcan. I'm also of waiting for Kreis pre-orders to be debuted so maybe I should save for that?
I would wait for it to be released, and Vulcan Horogium BD145RS for 36$ when it's originally 20$ isnt that good a deal.
Some advice please.
With the explosion of popularity of beyblades at my 7 year-old son's school I've been trying to put together a nice Christmas package for him. I've already giving him a Hasbro version of Basalt Horogium (Twisted Tempo) which was his first beyblade. He has been giving the bigger boys fits with this one!
And in addition to some other Hasbro models, including an interesting 3 blade L-Drago set, I was able to pick-up a TT Death Quetzalcoatl and an SK Variaries, which came in the mail today.
For a launcher I got a BB 115 LR launcher (in red). Now, and here is the question, is there a handle grip that I should have ordered to complete the launcher? The BB 115 came today as well, but I'm starting to think I may be short an accessory?
I appreciate any advice. He is the youngest in the bunch of beybladers and I want to keep him competitive and for him to have fun.
Did I miss something?

Hm...
The 3 Segment Launcher Grip is something you must look forward to buying.
If you have enough funds to spend on a DX set, that is great.
Get a Big Bang Pegasis DX Set if possible.
You get a BB-10 stadium (which is the best stadium ever), a Big Bang Pegasis(it is very popular among kids of your son's age group, and you'll see him flaunt it in front of his friends! Its not Competitively useful though.), useful tips like RF and XF, a silver BeyLauncher, a BeyPoint Card, and the aforementioned 3 Segment Launcher Grip.
EDIT- The DX set me cost you around $80.

Ultimate DX set is not bad too.. (eh..it does contain BB10 right?i am un sure)
Duo Uranus is a good defence bey too...
also..you might need Hell Kerbecs BD145 DS for your son too...BD145 suits Basalt for a heavy defence combo..
if your son like attack types..CH120 or R145 is a good tracks..and since you got L Drago set, which i think Meteo reshuffle set..then..you already have LRF,RF and 85 tracks which is vital for attack types..

How much does a Death Gargoyle go for?
I have really taken a liking for it.

@ Benjo No Ultimate DX set does not have a BB-10 so the BB_107 DX set is indeed the best option along with Hell Kerbecs
Also,
Spy Car- If you want your son to be at his Competitive Best, you'll need to make many more purchases.
But, the BB-10 stadium is essential for every blader. So, you have to buy it. The DX sets offer more than just a stadium, which is why its a good purchase.
OK, so I was saying, to make your son the best Competitive Player, you'll need these beys-
Phantom Orion
VariAres
Duo Uranus (from Ultimate DX set, which is not worth the price you pay for it. Buy an individual pack instead)
Hell Kerbecs
You already have other good parts like Basalt, Death and RDF.
You'll also need a few CS tips.
We also have various distinctions on how a part will perform in a certain stadium.
Being the standard stadium according to this community's rules, most of the Competitive beys we enlist work best in the BB-10 stadium.
If he participates in Hasbro tournaments, then all these parts will be useless. Not only are these illegal for Hasbro tourneys(TT beys not allowed in Hasbro), but some may not perform 'as well' as they do in the BB-10 stadium.
If you look forward to host a WBO tournament yourself, then you will have to use the BB-10 stadium.
In that case, these parts are the best in the current meta-game.

Sorry to bother you but I have a question.
Is it a good deal to buy Pegasus Battle Set (Hasbro - Galaxy Pegasus, Storm Pegasus and Cyber Pegasus + string launcher) for 25-30$? (with shipment costs included)

Well, if you like those beys, then its good. But otherwise, its not worth it.
Those beys suck Competitively, and only those Rubber tips you'll get with them will actually be useful.
You are better off buying a string launcher, and certain Hasbro starters like Twisted Tempo, Hades Kerbecs, etc.
If you can get TT beys, you may go for a Strongest Blader Set; or for a VariAres; or a Phantom Orion.
