If I were able to get Ray Unicorno or Flame Byxis Which one should I get?

Both are good beys, but Byxis has 230, which is necessary in current metagame, so Byxis would be more recommended, otherwise get both as Unicorno contains CS.

Both are really helpful. Ray, good for attack, and CS is a top tier bottom. Flame is good for destabilizing, 230 is top tier, WD is great for stamina.

Actually, it really depends on what you already have, and in what form your target purchase comes in...

ie. If you have solid attack wheels in mind, and are missing some essential parts, attackers at D125 work rather well. You will also benefit from a somewhat aggressive CS, which is more commonly found in the starter Ray Unicorno, or a worn one if you happen to find a dud.

Although, you'll find that if you already have a stable defense combination like Basalt BD145, 230 will do very little to improve any customs you may already have. Furthermore, if you get into a position where Hell is unavailable to you, 230 will work as an adequate substitute, but keep in mind there are many counters to 230, and while completely alright to have been used in a competitive scene, is not as viable a choice as a BD Tank...

As with any beyblade purchase, those greedy giants aren't going to give you much love, often leaving you with archaic, obsolete parts like a WD, Clear Wheels aside Bull, Aquario and Kerbecs, the Ray Metal Wheel, Flame Metal Wheel, faces aside Hasbro Legend Faces, etc.

Earth and GB145 are slightly outclassed by Libra/Basalt and 230/BD145. However, they are still very good and you can get it from Hasbro for like $8.

2. Basalt Horogium
3. Gravity Perseus
4. Metal Face and Metal Face 2
5. Attack Set. (Contains 85, RF, XF etc)

Ray Unicorno and Galaxy Pegasis are going to be available late 2011 so just get them here. You won't need a string launcher because Gravity Perseus comes with Beylauncher L/R
