Hi there,

the scope is unknown at this point, but I know that it is very popular at most of the elementary and middle school levels. Seeing a group of 8-10 kids playing at any given recess is not uncommon.

My hope is bringing WBO to the area will bring to light the interest here and get some regular competitors.

If you are able to travel, you should fly up to Ptarmicon this weekend and enjoy the comic gaming, and geek culture here in addition to the tournament (looks like you are in Northern Alberta)
