[Product]  UX-19 Starter BulletGriffon H

Starter Pack for Beyblade X, featuring the UX Line's version of the new 'Expand Blade' gimmick. (All three lines have different takes on what 'Expand Blade' means.) For UX, the Blade has been expanded downward to take the place of a Ratchet, allowing for more unique gimmicks. (In the case of BulletGriffon, this allows it to do the Phantom Fox/Striker Drone/Bl Driver gimmick.)
MSRP is 2600 JPY, releases on April 25th, 2026.

how are they going to rule this in tournaments? which one counts as the bey for the purpose of finishes?

For scoring against Griffon the lower part is all that matters. If the top half stops spinning or enters a pocket, the opponent doesn't score anything. But if the bottom half is burst, put in the pocket, or stops spinning even if the top half is still going, Griffon loses.

The upper half can still get points by koing or bursting the opponent.

Also it's important to note that if the top half does stop spinning or gets ko'd it stays in the stadium or pocket until points are scored by one of the beys
When I first saw this, I didn't really like the design. But, seeing that the upper part can spilt, it just makes me wanna change my mind-
the new deabolos Idk if I spelled that right

Here are a couple of video on this dual split bey:

Short version:
honestly with the fact that the lower part is the part that matters i feel like this is a really cool gimmick but it wont make the meta just because the lower part is going to be so much lighter it can be over finished or extremed pretty easily
From weight estimates it weighs the same as the top half, which is roughly 30g. Together the bey weighs nearly 60g

While I agre on that it won't be meta, I don't think it has to do with weight, since the extremely thin and round design has amazing defense. Rather it would be because of the prongs at the top once it separates, having seen videos of it, it has a lot of recoil. Plus since it only ends up in that defensive form once the gimmick activates then the bullet might me an obstacle for it as well.

The blade is near impossible to Xtreme before it's split apart because of it's 60g weight and when split, it's almost a perfect circle so attacks roll off of it instead of striking it. It's surely meta
It makes sense to use merge here, since you can cheat the system and hardly break apart while you can tank hits
