Wrong. The code is just a production number/batch. I was researching on whether the numbers actually meant anything but a carton of 24 pieces RBV6 told me otherwise.

However, in one carton, there will be more than 1 number/code. The prize will be from one of the numbers though, not exclusively. The non prize releases will also be in the mix.

Your best bet is to find out the prize bey weight and confirm it visually.

I guess Takara Tomy found out that we were using codes to get it, so they change the codes so that we will never find KILLER BEAFOWL! =p

The codes arent completely useless though. If you just sieve the correct numbers, picking which one among the batch would be way easier.
