[Product]  B-00 α Beyblade Burst exclusive/legendary: Amaterios Aero Assault

Unless there was another place I saw it as "umaterios", but I cannot seem to find it so far.

yeah, no idea why they put the "a" in small letter
or it's not an "a" but a small alpha - α from the Greek letter ,which can also be a possibility
I bet that's it.
So αmaterios Aero Assault?
Yes, but it's just a stylistic decision, since it is obviously written in regular katakana characters in Japanese. It's just Amaterios Aero Assault.
Or perhaps they're all alphas to signify not being part of the main series' alphabet of parts?

When companies do stuff like this, it's safe to say that it's a stylistic decision. Nobody at Takara-Tomy is writing emails with the alpha symbol to designate Amaterios.

The name is Amaterios Aero Assault, and I don't really think it's open for debate any longer.
However, it being written in regular Katakana in Japanese just means that it is pronounced as "a", but it does not mean that it is not written, in non-Japanese letters, with all alphas. I also think, considering what we see on the Disk, that all the first letters are supposed to be α.
So when people type those three letter abbreviations for Burst combos in place of their full names, such as VWA for Valkyrie Wing Accel, if they want to abbreviate a combo involving a part that shares the same initial as another (e.g. Aero, Armed, Assault, Accel), how should they go about it? Should they mimic the stylistic decision by Takara-Tomy and use a lowercase "a" for usages of Assault and Aero (i.e. VaD, VSa, etc.)? Because I'd think using the same capital letters for different parts would get extremely confusing very fast...

I've no problem with always just writing out the full names of Burst Beyblades, but I don't think everyone will share my opinion on this.
^ I honestly think those shortcuts are not worth the trouble, unless the context makes it very obvious what you're talking about. (e.g. in a thread solely about Kerbeus Heavy Defense Vs. Valkyrie X Accel, it would make sense to write VWA, VCA, VHA, etc.)

This is a stylistic decision, not a naming choice. I mean, we don't write Beyblade names in all-caps just because they were written that way on the box, either.

(Plus, if you write αmaterios αero αssault, nobody will ever find this thread. lol)
Oh god I hope no one refers Accel as XL...
My point was that there have been theories that every part of each type will have a different letter this series and, while that seems very limiting, the only thing we've seen that deconfirms it so far is the doubling up of A's. If, however, it turns out that limited run event beys like Amaterios are spelt with non-roman lettering, that could be a massive indicator for and also a suggestion that the next limited one might be beta based.

EDIT: NVM, Evileye + Excalibur, unless the latter becomes XFX.
They are actually written correctly with capital and non-capital letters on these boxes hah. But it is easy to know that full capital letters can be uncapitalised, while the deliberate use of a Greek letter is different.
It would be cool if main or powerful or limited Beyblades had three of the same letters.

I must've missed when everyone was talking about HELL KERBECS, then!

The actual name is written in Japanese; therefore, there's no consequences for Takara-Tomy to add a stylistic flourish like using an alpha symbol in place of an A. But it cannot be spelled with an alpha symbol because you cannot spell an English word with an alpha symbol anyway. It's a Greek character, not an English letter. You can't just drop it into a different language.

Again, I'll reiterate — this is very obviously a stylistic decision intended to indicate Amaterios as "the beginning," which considering the myth its based on, makes sense. I am 100% confidence that its name is actually Amaterios. And anyone looking for it is going to search for the word Amaterios, because nobody has an alpha symbol on their keyboard. :')
But they did just drop it in the English name and the alpha is part of the official spelling hah. There is both an official 'spelling' in Katakana, and an official romanized spelling.

This is what OkinawamTS and I are refering to, by the way :

And which I thought was a 'u' until I did a closeup yesterday hah ...

That being said, I totally agree that for the sake of people finding this page and us getting visits/hits, it would make no sense to change it to alpha everywhere. However, it remains that the official spelling is with alphas.
Whose great idea was it to make the top part thin?
Mannnn..!!!!
I lost the battle Pinching_eyes_2
I collected all the points by answering questions. Well darn it went in waste \(°~°)/
not sure if anybody found out about this.
But just in case, if you are a BeyLogger friend with someone who won the Amaterios Rare Bey. You get the Special Amaterios Power for friend and all the points you get will be x1.5 until his Amaterios Power ends or that you get the Amaterios Rare Bey as well.

So if you have a friend and you win does that mean you get 2.5x points for the time until it's powers wear off? That's insane if that's the case haha.

like I wrote it
you get this Special Power until his Amaterios Power ends or that you get the Amaterios Rare Bey as well.
[/quote] so of of course after that you got your own Amaterios Power, the Special Power automatically ends. But probably your friend will get the Special Power when his Amaterios Power will end.
Oh alright; that would be insane if people got that much of a point boost haha.
(Aug. 30, 2015  10:36 AM)1234beyblade Wrote: Oh alright, so if you have like 4 beylogger with all different accounts and you friend them you can get 4 Amaterios?

if you are lucky, yes you can win 4 Amaterios
like someone from Osaka, that I met again at a G4 Shop Tournament, who told me this afternoon that he won 4 Amaterios.
Ya I have 2 beyloggers and am friends with myself. I am my only friend, what a loser. Haha. Well, my gf and my friends use it sometimes when they play. Lol. But yeah if you have 2 beyloggers make sure you create 2 accounts. I already got a free try on my other account. Sometimes when I play, I launch with both beyloggers, because if you just launch 2 beys with one really fast, it only records your first shot
By the way guys, I had already posted about the Amaterios Blessing days ago :

Looks like this series is based on gods and mythological places seems interesting I can't wait for a Loki and thor XD
