I have Platinum and currently my party is between levels 46-48
Where abouts are all you at? Do any of you use IV's or w/e?

My team is levels 50-53 and is EV trained, but the pokemon are all UU/BL tiers. I've got Pokemon Diamond. Right now okay to battle?

Yes, very. It took me 5 days with an Action Replay. We can go ahead and battle, My team has common weaknesses so you may be able to beat me, and I haven't won with this team yet XD. PM'ed

Is EV training hard?

EV training isn't hard, it just takes some time. Back in FRLG, if I was going with a 4/252/252 spread, it would usually take me around 1 hour to get a single stat maxed out, while having the Macho Brace on and getting 2 EVs per poke.
It's slightly easier in DPP with the new power items, which give +4 to their respective stat along with whatever EVs the poke you beat gave originaly. Even better if you also got the Pokérus.
It's still boring, but it doesn't even compare to actually breeding for 31 IVs in certain stats, nature, ability and HP type/power combined. Lately, every time I think about breeding/training a new poke, I end up up getting turn off by that fact...then I just go off to suck at Halo =(
