[Plastics] :: Q&A Thread

I'm already nervous for next year's plastic tournament so this is why I'm going to be frequently asking questions. So what would be used for competitive use:
AR: Tiger Defenser (Driger S)
WD: Wide Survivor
SG: Left SG (Bearing Version) (Wolborg)
Shaft: Bearing Base (Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger)
BB: Defense Grip Base 2 (Wolborg 2)
or
AR: Twin Horn (Takara) (Gabriel)
WD: Wide Survivor
SG: Left SG (Bearing Version) (Wolborg)
Shaft: Bearing Base (Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger)
SP: Defense Ring (Voltaic Ape)
BB: Customize Grip Base (Dragoon V2) . Not sure if Twin Horn is better than Tiger Defenser for zombies but I think so. Where can I get a Wide Survivor/ Defense really need it, if you have one please PM me.
Twin Horn is better in left spin - it's the best, something I've stated multiple times... The only argument about best AR is between Twin Horn (Takara) and Twin Horn (Hasbro)+Dragon Saucer SAR (Gaia Dragoon G)*
BK's shaft is much more versatile than MDBS - the latters instability makes it less reliable against circle survivor defense (wolborg 4 combos).
You'd need to hunt for wide survivor and wide defense. <3 may still be selling his Wide Defense but he hasn't been online for a while. I had some success asking sellers who buy and separate lots whether they had any as the two aren't well known by non-competitive people.

Defense Grip Base 2 is straight up better than Customize Grip Base for zombies and should be considered alongside it for defensive zombies (less attack (aggression of the tip is partially due to it catching in CGB, marginally less defense which isn't too relevant given the tip's incredible defense, but significantly better stamina).

The first one is still the better combo. As integral as a good AR is to a Zombie, TD is already good and LAD trumps just about everything aside from severe impracticality (Spiral Change Base).

*The latter has a major advantage against circle survivor defense for some reason, but has this baffling weakness in terms of stamina against upper attack - which is only really noticeable against Driger V2 combos which defeat it by OS consistently.
So, Metal Change Base is better than Metal Ball Base
I have a question about the Bearing Gyros 'blades; Can they use any other AR asides from the Gyro AR, or are they only compatible with the Gyro AR?

They just specialise in different things, as does Customize Metal Change. In fact, each more heavily emphasises one particular type compared to the other two (though this is all within the context of being balance types)
Metal Change Base: Attack
Customize Metal Change Base (w/Defense Ring): Defense
Metal Ball Base: Survival

Of course there is more depth to it than that, but that is a basic outline.

I can't say for sure as I don't own a full bearing gyros but there certainly aren't any structural differences between them and other AR's... I am not even that clear on the structure/assembly of Bearing Gyros, but I assume the AR fits inside the clear shell part, so that would place some limitations on what fits - but whether it is just Bearing Gyros AR that fits, I cannot say.

Hopefully someone who has one will see your post, but then I think most owners who are still around have them NIB and it would be ill-advised to open them as they really only have value for collection given how outclassed-by-much-cheaper-things the AR turned out to be.

No they are compatible with other AR's, I own one.
How much does a Dranzer S go for these days?
I'm probably going to end up getting a Hasbro Bearing Stinger, so I wanted to know the best replacement for Wide Defense in this combo (I still don't have one).
AR: Tiger Defenser
WD: ?
BB: Bearing Base
Just so you know, I don't have any other Stamina bases, so this is the best I can do (just an ordinary stamina combo). I don't have Wide Survivor either, so keep that in mind.

Currently...its price went up to 15USD on Ebay..hahah..and thats for Sonokong..
That increase is only for sonokong ones (and then only on ebay) though. If Nano isn't aware, Sonokong pre-G series beys aren't fully compatible with regular plastics.

Not sure about the price of Dranzer S though, the AR's breakage issues can make finding complete ones second hand a little difficult, and it's very hard to find it NIB these days (again aside from sonokong). Still, $15-20 is really the most you should pay.

I remember you telling that about the gold ones. So it applies to all Sonokong?

Yes, especially the gold SK's. lol
Uhh... not especially to them... Just the same as to any other sonokong pre-grev bey.

10 Wide, but it'll suck. How can you get a bearing stinger and not a wide defense/survivor...

Recently, there have been quite a few more on ebay. Originally, I won an auction a few weeks ago for a NIB Hasbro one for $15.50, but the seller refused to sell it to me and all of my dreams were crushed. Just last night, there was a used Bearing Stinger I got for $17.00 plus $2.00 shipping and I regained my dreams.

Just wondering, is a used Bearing Stinger (Hasbro w/ Packaging) worth $17?

Definitely! For you, the buyer, at least. Bearing Stingers usually go for $25-$50..
I want to be able to build my own combos, however I still have a lot to learn.

What gives a beyblade better balance?
What gives a beyblade better stamina?
What gives a beyblade better defence?
What gives a beyblade better attack?

As of right now I don't know many people who own beyblades, so I mostly end up launching it to see how long it will keep spinning. What parts and pieces would keep my beyblade going the longest?

Right now I am using a Draciel F for my attack ring and a Draciel F blade base with 4 balls in it, not counting the tip.
I was wondering if I should use a 10 Heavy, or a 10 Balance in it. I also have the tiny inner weight ring from the Draciel S.

I have:
Bistool (Balance)
Draciel F (Defense)
Draciel Metal Ball Defenser (Defense) base with a Draciel F attack ring.
Draciel V2 (Defense)
Dranzer-S (Balance)
Driger

Weight Disks:
Ten Wide x2
Eight Balance x2
Ten Heavy
Eight Heavy
Six Heavy

Also, where can I go to see an acurate listing of the stats of each part, and how it will effect the attack, defense and stamina of my beyblade?

Of course only on Beywiki :
http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/

However, for your information, stats do not mean anything : we actually inform you on the real things.

Bistool AR is a good compact AR..
Draciel F and V2 is by far, quite useless...except for its support part which have some use in attack customization...but there more better SP...
Dranzer S BB is a good survival BB with decent LAD...
You have no wrong on Draciel MBD BB as defense..its one of the best...(Based on what you have, if you have Driger S AR, paired with MBD's BB)

What Driger did you have?if it is Driger S, it is one of the best uncustomized bey released...but its AR has major use in Survival/ Defense (paired with Wolborg 4's BB & EG)
For survival combo, i believe 10 Wide is your only choice...

So far that's what i know..
Th!nk would be better in this..haha

And, solo spin doesnt prove anything...
Are these worth getting?
Driger V2
Dranzer V2
Strata Dragoon V
Thanks
Yes, Only if you can't get voltaic ape and need a survival/defense support part, Yes.

However, "worth" generally indicates price being a factor...
are there more versions of Gaia Dragoon S than Violet, Blue, Black and Red?
Yes there's also yellow. Technically the purple one shouldn't be called a ver since it's the original one.

Thanks! i only wanted to say it the clearest way posible, that's why i say the colour
If I could buy one plastics beyblade, which would help me the most (considering the parts I already have)? Draciel F
Wolborg 4
Dragoon G
Seaborg 2
Draciel G
Driger S
EDIT: Oops, never mind. Misread the question.
