[Plastics] :: Q&A Thread

For Bladers with 3D printers, here's a free compilation of Bakuten Shoot Beyblades. Many contain all the parts of the release, some only have the AR especially if the Blade Base is not of any use. Yes, there are a lot of really strong parts such as Customize Grip Base, Zeus AR and SAR, Circle Survivor CEW, etc, random boosters such as Orca and Crab Diver (Manta Diver coming soon once I buy a real one). You're free to print and experiment as you please.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask about difference of the box that belongs to the same Takara Bakuten Shoot product which is Master Draciel and I wanted to ask if both products are original or not.

Here are two links that are the examples of the product with two different boxes:

Master Draciel Box with Spin Gear Symbol:
https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/deta...1205434047

Master Draciel Box with Magnacore Symbol (There is also a Gaia Dragoon beyblade in this link but only the Master Draciel one is important):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/145726216566?mk...=WHATS_APP

The reason I ask this is because this beyblade actually has spin gear system but the other box has a magnacore symbol on it.

I think I asked this question on a wrong discussion page before and I couldn't delete it so I wanted ask it here, too.

Thanks!

Cool observation! I'd assume this is because its a reissue released after MG system dropped. If you translate the blurb, it says it doesn't include magnets, but is compatible!

Thanks for the reply!

If I understand correctly, even though there are box differences, they are original Takara beyblades either way, right?
Yes. Afaik, fakes don't ever replicate the Takara logo. But this is real.

That's a relief. I was wondering about this while choosing what to buy. Thank you!

By the way, about the parts inside the boxes, does having a clock like symbol and the text about production place, year and name of company on attack ring and/or blade base  indicate a plastic beyblades' originality right? (There is a link for a photo about it down below) Are there any other things that helps to understand it on a unpacked beyblade?

yes although some unidentified fakes could copy this. Honestly any fake questions could easily be asked in authenticity check on the WBO discord if you arent sure.

Ok, I will check that out. Thank you for your help!
Greetings! Came here, since this thread was mentioned on PlasticsDB, and I had a few questions, as someone who is properly getting into it as an adult. (For context, I grew up with MFB, and only ever had a Dragoon G from plastic gen)

First is in regards to Draciel F. I know the Beyblade comes with a tub of silicone grease, so that the ball can perform smoother. I wanted to ask where that grease is applied (with pictures, if possible), so I don't end up just wasting the tub and making a mess of my Beyblade. Also on that note, I saw that PlasticsDB mentioned the grease being silicone based. When the tub runs out, is there a replacement brand I can use that will not damage my bey, or will any old silicone grease work?

Second, also in regards to the Draciel family, could anyone possibly recommend a place for where I can get metal balls that are the correct dimensions and weight? I know some of the Draciel family can use extra balls, and I wanted to get matching balls that aren't far off from what they come with in the box. Plus, I feel like that would probably also matter for tournaments, but I may well be wrong. I know when I had asked about this on Reddit, someone mentioned going to a Bicycle shop, but I would prefer to be able to order online, if possible.

Third, I wanted to ask about some general advice on purchases for someone who's more or less new to the plastic gen. Budget in the current climate is something I want to be conscious of, and preferably, id like to get what I can, new in box, for ideal performance, but that isn't strictly necessary. For context, I currently have a Draciel F (new), Dragoon F (new), and Dranzer F (used) coming from Japan, and a Roller Defenser (new, Hasbro) coming in from America. The former 3 were chosen due to their iconic status, and Roller Defenser was chosen, directly because of how affordable it is, and having useful parts. I also own an incomplete Dragoon G from my childhood (no Engine Gear), which I think I read has a good attack ring? I plan on buying beys slowly over time, and want to primarily focus on getting ones that have useful parts above all else, while also not costing like 250$+ (ideally).

Last, I wanted to ask if there was a Discord or any sort of active chat for specifically the plastic gen? I've been getting huge into them, via the anime series, and videos from YouTube, in addition to always just being curious about it as a kid, despite it not being what I grew up with.

Thank you to anyone who responds, and offers some help/advice!
