For players, no, it certainly isn't. For collectors a 1/1000 limited release bey is worth a hell of a lot more than $130.

Sharpie is the worst decision I've made when found out that it does no carp at all for darker colored clear wheels. Predictable results yes, but still. The closest thing to success was a Cancer wheel.

I'm using an off brand metallic sharpie. The ink in this one is richer and it covers the plastic instead of just putting ink on it.

But yes, usually sharpies don't work very well on dark wheels.
