[Philadelphia, USA] any Milton, PA bladers out there?

Sigh I have no tournaments anywhere In Penn Valley
I could definitely help generate interest in a tournament near the Philly area. I've never attended a tournament though so I don't think I'd be much help in planning or running one.

I'm definitely willing to volunteer as whatever is needed, I'm a Philly blader and I'm excited to get in to the local scene or help one grow!
Right now I'm thinking about 8th and poplar Park, or Old Pine Community center as Venue, I can talk to the community center about using the space. 8th and poplar is a park and skate park
Yeah its sad that there is hardly anyone really nearby where I live to blade with so I slowed down on buying beys. I live in Berks County Shillington Pa.
posting to gauge interest for a potential tournament sometime in august! location TBD, but it would be around West Philly / Center City.

I wonder if anyone would entertain the idea of practicing beyblade at a game shop or something? Like a meet up.

I’m not even sure if Gamestop would allow that? There are multiple board game shops that might allow for it.

Redcaps??

Might be easier to organize at a park that enough people can agree on, which is something I’m down to do if enough people want to be involved. Unfortunately forums are the internet equivalent of a dead mall, so it might be difficult to get enough people involved.

I play pokemon and I know someone who TOs for recaps and pgs. I am gunna talk to pgs about beyblade and see what can happen. If not, I can ask another store. Right now the only phillidelphia beyblqde event is at shikkaricon at plymouth meeting.

Plymouth Meeting ain’t Philly though 💀

PGS would actually be great for me as I know exactly where it is and they have a lot of open space. Not familiar with Redcap’s but it’s close to work.

Sadly pgs didn't have time in their schedule

Honestly, it might be easiest to gather in a park somewhere. It’s free and we can take up space pretty much anywhere. And it’s public so it would be mostly safe.

I was trying to do that last Thursday but it poured. If you know a group that wants to do that I know a good park in center city we wanted to visit. I can bring my stadium.

I don’t think anyone I know would be interested, but if you can get something set up and confirm it’s going to happen I will show up.

edit: Need to say that it would have to be on a weekend (preferably Sunday) as my work schedule has me working OT for the next few weeks.

I need to get a new bey and then I'm down to do a tournament or meet up, we need more of that in PA especially the Philly area.
