Performance Tip/Driver - Trans

Quote:Trans is a Performance Tip released as part of the Burst System which debuted with the release of B-57 Triple Booster Set Nova Neptune/Nepstrius N2 Vertical Trans on August 6, 2016.

==Description==
Trans features an adjustable tip at standard height with two settings, Stamina and Attack, which are switched by twisting the bottom portion of the Performance Tip. Embossed onto the top is a stylized "T" for easy differentiation.

The Stamina setting exposes a small low angle cone tip meant to make the Beyblade stationary in the center of the stadium, however to accommodate the mode change the cone tip is incredibly small in diameter unlike the Survive and Claw Performance Tips. Due to this, the tip is very susceptible to being knocked off balance in this setting and with the bulky size of Trans, can lead to risks of scraping, though this effect can be mitigated by twisting the tip's bottom portion only half way so the edge of the flat portion lines up the edge of the cone, effectively increasing the diameter.

The Attack setting covers the cone tip with a flat tip with a hole in the center akin to the Zephyr Performance Tip, creating an aggressive movement pattern with a hybrid of Attack and Stamina properties, ideal for Mobile Stamina Customizations. However the edges of the flat tip has 4 small tabs around it which prevents the tip from catching onto the Tornado Ridge, instead causing it to grind and lose stamina making this tip a poor choice for Tornado Stalling Customizations.

==Summary==
Being the first and so far only Performance Tip with multiple settings, Trans has incredible versatility allowing for three strategies; Attack, Mobile Stamina and Stationary Stamina and the small tip makes the setting difficult for one's opponent to identify before launch. These properties offset the disadvantages Trans has and makes this part a must-buy for competitive bladers.

Oh dear lag has made this post appear twice, sorry!
Trans is also on alta chronos
suggest a combo, mention its weight.rest looks good to me
I think it's also worth mentioning that the Trans driver occasionally switches modes during battles. If we can somehow exploit this, it'll be much easier controlling the trajectory.

Scrapping against the stadium floor. So if your combo is unbalanced and you're facing a destabilizer?
Mine usually switches from attack to stamina mode....

Or more likely, facing off a destabilizer and launching an attack combo at the center. By launching the stamina tip in the center, and having it switch from stamina to attack mode (more frequently with left spin), you can surprise your opponent since the Trans tip can be just as effective as a regular attack tip with far more control, and you don't end up stalling when against a stamina type. This is supposed to be what Reboot does, but Trans does it better by using a hole flat tip and with more control. However, that is by no means reliable, so there's a risk here.

==Use in Attack Type Combinations==
Trans can be put to use in the Attack Type combination Xcalius X3 0/1/2/4/5/7 Cross/Glaive/Star Trans. The high recoil of the Layer is enhanced by the heavy weight of the 0/1/2/4/5/7 Disc while the heavy weight also bolsters Knock-Out resistance. The use of Trans can make the combination either a Mobile or Stationary Attack Type while the plastic construction bolsters the Stamina of the Disc and Frame.

==Use in Attack/Stamina Combinations==
Trans can be put to use in the Balance Combination Twin Nemesis (Upper Mode) 0/2/4/5/7 Cross/Glaive/Star Trans. The destabilization potential along with the high Stamina potential of the Layer, Disc, Frame and Trans Tip can allow the combination to out spin its opponent while also granting higher Burst Attack potential on the Attack Setting due to the movement speed.

==Summary==
Being the first Performance Tip with multiple settings, Trans has incredible versatility allowing for three strategies; Attack, Mobile Stamina and Stationary Stamina. Furthermore, because the setting can be changed without having to disassemble the combination, Trans' setting can be changed as many times as one wants to in a tournament battle. With better tip shapes and thus more consistent performance than Zeta, Trans is must-buy for competitive bladers.
