Nintendo 3DS

I just got one of these.

But I have no games.

Wait for SSB4, Kid Icarus Uprising, Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D, Sonic Generations ect.
SSB4 will likely be 2013. Kid Icarus looks like trash. Super Mario looks like every Mario game I've played this last decade, and Sonic Generations will be better on console.

I'll probably buy Mario Kart, lol.

Let me guess, you tried it at a display unit? If so, it hurt because it was so awkwardly placed.

Even if not, you don't have to use the 3D. And before you say the 3D is the point of the system, tell that to me when they stop producing games for the DS.

If you're talking about the display units, they're stuck at a weird angle, so yeah...

Waiting for Megaman Legends 3, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Super Mario 3D.

PS: Using 3DS right now for browsing.
PSS: I stayed up until 1am (checking every 5 minutes) waiting for the eShop update... On a school night. Cute
You're getting the eShop update so late? Where are you?

I meant, the day it came out, I stayed up till 1am waiting for it.

To, you are really harsh...
At least Kid Icarus is being original, what with the TPS gameplay and high action controls.
Everyone loves Super Mario because it has the Raccoon Suit, Sonic Generations would be good to have on a handheld.

Even if this is coming out WAAAAY far away from now, MEGAMAN LEGENDS 3!
Unlike most 3DS games so far (MGS:3D, KI:U, maybe Sonic G), MML3 has a plot. A very in depth plot, I might add.
Yay for MegaMan!!! Supaburn
also on my 3ds!
i would also get the mario kart or mario games or the zelda games
it wont let me activate my netflix account help please

Do you have a Netflix account already? If not, you have to make one on your computer with the link the 3DS Application tells you.
I'd like to share my thoughts on the 3DS, having tried one at an ASDA. The 3DS.... I amazing and I want one right now! The 3D on Pilotwings is a bit strong though. The demos were Pilotwings and Street Fighter, it's too bad I couldn't put Zelda 3DS in, I'd stay there all day.
3DS Bomba Pricing:

- $169 from August 12
- 15, 000 Yen
- $250 AUD

Nintendo has slashed profit expectations for the next quarter 82%, and is now making a loss on 3DS hardware.

Those who bought it before the bomba pricing will get the following for free from the eShop:

Free VC NES games for 3DS (from sept 1st):

Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong JR.
Balloon Fight
Ice Climbers
The Legend of Zelda
+ 5 more

Free VC GameBoy Advance games for 3DS:

Super Mario Advance 3
Mario Kart Advance
Metroid Fusion
Wario ware
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
+ 5 more

As someone who bought his unit a month ago, I'll tell you I am not amused Nintendo.
I want to to get Kid Icarus, Dream Drop Distance, Mario Kart, and Tom Clancy.

I'm posting this ON my 3ds!
I'm getting a 3DS and I'm wondering what games I should get I'm defiantly getting OoT.
Really, unless you enjoy fighting games, Zelda's all there is right now.

OoT is amazing. I have it and every time I play it I get uber nostalgia. 64 days rock.

Btw, you don't have to assign the ocarina, theres a built in button, and two extra item slots.

I'm kinda lost...So the price went down? And people that bought it before the price went down gets those free games?
If so, then I'll take it!

And they're putting NES games on it?
Where's four swords? I thought that would be released pretty soon.

Oh and To, get links awakening on the e-shop haha
Yeah, that's pretty much what's happening. However, I read that the VC games people who bought a 3DS before the price slash would be exclusive to those people? Why would they make something like Mario Kart Advance exclusive?
I should mention that Nintendo will verify if you bought your 3DS prior to the price drop based on the date you signed into the eShop. So if you have one, and haven't signed in yet, I would recommend signing in.

4 Swords isn't worth our time, even at free. The game will only support local multiplayer, despite the platform supporting online.

I also doubt these VC games will remain exclusive. But you can certainly tell Nintendo's desperate now.
So, is it normal that, after around a month of having owned a 3DS, I still don't have any 3DS games?

Oh, I have DS games, of course. Got myself Bleach: The 3rd Phantom (It sucks, like most Bleach games) and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, which is excellent, but I have no games that were made for the 3DS. I just don't see an appeal in any of 'em.

Devil Survivor Overclocked is gonna come out, though. That could be fun...

wait,do we download just 1 cause your post looks like we can download all of them.
It appears you get 20 games. Keyword on "appears". Nintendo's vague with things, as always.

I've owned mine for about a month now too, I own no 3DS games. You should've bought a PSP, since it actually has games, and is still cheaper than the 3DS.

You might as well buy the original Devil Survivor on DS, since the 3DS version only appears to gain voice acting, and Devil Survivor 2 is coming out for DS.
Well, that's a bummer...

Oh well. Some good game has to come out at one point, right? The Paper Mario fan that I am would certainly like to see that third (Or fourth, if you count the horrible 'Super' Paper Mario) installment.
on the point of the 20 free games, you get every single one for free, the gba ones are exclusive.
More like "Timed" exclusives. They'll be released to the general public eventually, as it makes too much sense.

If you want to invest in more Nintendo doom and gloom, their stock dropped an insane 20%, Yamauchi (former Nintendo president) lost $500 million in stocks, and Iwata reportedly took a 50% pay cut yesterday. Iwata also said he's giving the 3DS 4 months to live, or I guess they'll label it that word you get in Super Smash Brothers when you don't complete one of the task driven challenges.

So, I heard about this price drop on August 12, how much will it drop to in GBP?
To be honest, as long as I'm getting the games, I don't mind the price drop. I bought my Wii when it only came with one game, a regular Wiimote, and for $250, and I'm not complaining. Plus, since I only have one 3DS game at the moment, those games will give me something to pass the time.
