I've realised I'm definitely not the only "musician" we have here. I'm not even that good, but I figured we should all have a place to chat about instruments/tone/styles/skills/influences/our bands/other stuff.

So, here we are. Whatever instrument you play, be it the Ondes Martenot, Theremin, Pan Pipe, Plain Ol' Geetar, or even singing, chat about it here.

I'm a total gear-head, one of those guys chasing a tone. That said, it's awkward now I seem to have found it :V I've got 7 guitars, most of them great. Mainly play my modded Yamaha Pacifica 112J (it has expensive pickups, and is incredibly comfortable, plus wiring mods, all by me). I've also got one of 350 Gibson Eye guitars (the infamous EyeSore, if you will). I love it, it's ugly and cool and bright red and oh so me. Needs to go into the shop, it's gone crazy with the weather, past the point I can fix (which says a lot, I'm able to do a decent restoration, just about anything that doesn't involve finishing, fretwork/nuts and filing).
Also got a Japanese Greco LP, which plays easily as well as the gibson (and has a Humbucker Sized P-90 in the neck, a personal favourite setup of mine), alongside a bunch of other guitars, including one 7-string because I'm too lazy to detune any one of my other guitars
I'm good at getting amazing cheap guitars off ebay, hence why I've got 7.

5 amps, one destroyed (cheapo practice thing, I needed circuit parts) one that's a restoration/re-build project, found in my uncle's shed, one solid state I never play, and two tubes (one small 6-watter, one 40-watter, both great).

A buttload of pedals, currently loving the Danelectro Cool Cat OD. It's a Fulltone OCD clone, for those of you that have managed to get this far, and through the Hayden Peacemaker 40-watter, it is heavenly. It's awkward, cos it sounds perfect, I can't keep gear hunting

Band-Wise, I'm trying to find people that are as passionate as me, the hard part is vocals and drums, and getting my bassist friend to stop pickling his liver (bad breakups don't help things) once in a while to actually practice

ya i play acoustic guitar , and im 11 i've wrote 5 songs and working on another

the way i end up writing songs is when i just play around with my guitar and somtimes i make a mistake and BAM! idea for new song, i did that with the a minor scale. pm me if you want tabs for any of my songs or need help with scales and stuff.
