The fact that CLAMP designs are tall and thin for people.

yeah they're really going against the trend with that one
I dunno, I think that dude with the headphones looks a hells lot like Sakura Grin And Tsubasa has a continually recycled plot episode after episode, like a certain show about spinning tops aswell Grin

And looking at those designs, I don't think they'd work for Beyblade. Me thinks it's because it's for young children.

i kinda like the loof of the new character kinda reminds me of Tai from the first season of digimon, and it's jst a first sketch they'll probably make it look betta for th real thing, and i'm kinda glad their not making the people "street" themed they don't need to make em look weird just cool and i think theyve done that. can't wait ta see the rest of them.
I haven't wanted to murder a cartoon character since Daichi.

Some one really needs to make this game using the newest MFB guy:

The new main character's pretty ok, however I was kind of expecting a different design, with this being Beyblade and such. Then again, the new anime DOES have a different theme (Urban), so I guess expecting the character designs to be too similar to the old one is kinda pointless. Still, looking at the design, it looks more like it was made for a manga, and less for the anime, so he might have a more polished look once we see the anime for the first time.

Nonetheless, I agree with most of you, a The World Ends With You style for Metal Fight Beyblade would've rocked.

i was kinda enjoying the characters being much older. Members of beywiki could relate more. Now there back to the little kid characters, although i did enjoy B-Daman. wish they would of went for an older audience especially since the new blades are entirely made of metal, and don't look very safe for kids.

Okay, I still think that the design is retarded, but that preview image actually looks decent. Maybe it's because you can't see his face lol

looks like kai, daichi, and tyson mixed. kai's scarf, daichi's hair, and tyson's jeans

I'm just hoping the series doesn't flop, because I'd really like the toyline to keep going.
Wind effects, capes, and the wanderer look can really make a difference. Now instead of looking like a complete moron (teenage Daichi), he looks like the heroic vagabond who's on his way to kick carp, and take names, while just barely making 16.

Seriously though, that doesn't look half as bad as what was first posted.

In G-Revolution they were 12. Hardly "older".

Wow, looks much better here than he does in the other image.

Maybe this won't be so bad.

That, and in the dub, Tyson turned 13 in season 1, so in season 3 he was 15. Which was misleading, since the english version had the characters two years older than in the japan version.

The way the dub did it was more realistic in the end imo, I mean, there is no way you can sit there and tell me what those characters were 12 in G-Revolution (not including like Daichi and such obviously).

Shirt doesnt matter. The character isn't a mash-up of previous characters, rockblade was just comparing.
And AnnieDuck was joking at the drawing style.

I really REALLY hope that they do NOT use Bit-Beasts again. Bit-Beasts were really just a nuisance and, IMO, just another way to sell the Beyblades. A kid sees the Dragoon Bit-Beast, wants to buy a Dragoon.
...then you get the kids who insist that BitBeasts are real and stuff...:[

^That being said, we don't know if they'll be used.
I'd prefer it alot more if they scrapped bit beasts aswell as battles being won in more strategic ways and the whole series having a little more strategy to it, rather than winning a Beybattle at the last minute using 'the power of your friends and your bitbeast!"
I agree. That way, we can prevent this character being like Tyson. I think the new charcter needs to lose a bit more often than Tyson did as well, so he can learn from his mistakes.
