No Bey? No Prob!
Don't have any Beyblades from this series? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use for the duration of the event!

Side Notes
Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread!

The thread doesn't say there is any but there might be one
I'm sure there will be at least a small prize since there's a definite 5$ entry even if you have a passport

That's because the location's at a Game and hobby shop
Mishap will be awarding store credit to the winner or winners; the amount will depend on our turnout, so spread the word!
So, sadly I realized I made prior plans to be booked in a wrestling show on the same date, so I won't be able to come as expected. It really sucks to have 3 hobbies =\
Just now starting to look into tournament play, so for this tournament i couldnt use my Hell/Hades ring?
That's correct; Hades, aka Hell, is not allowed in Limited Format tournaments like this one.
You Oh my God, another damn metal fight limited tourney. Are you kidding me? I mean I get it a balanced metagame but here's why it sucks:

1) boring af (in comparison) 4d beyblades are much more interesting and it's a lot better seeing what combos people have made with them and battle them rather than the others.

2) all you really have to do to ban the op things is ban duo, phantom, and since they would be banned, then a basalt should also be banned cause it would be op without phantom and duo (even though I found a combo that could actually outlast and beat a duo 230 or basalt 230 combo and it's not phantom) and it's all good.

3) Hasbro duo would win anyway: all you have to do is add a metal face and some other defensive thing and it would be the same tourney as a non limited tourney where duo ends up winning since boost drive is banned well.

I mean a metal fight limited would be cool if hasbro duo would be banned. I have both the hasbro takara tomy duos so don't think i have lost to that combo a lot or something; in fact I have not even competed in a metal fight limited tourney but I saw a post that this person won 4 tourneys in a row with a hasbro    Duo and tested it.

Basalt is banned in limited

(I didn't reply and posted by accident)

I said they should ban those 3 things if there were to Be a limited 4d tourney.
I mean what they really should do for limited is ban 230. I mean anything With 230 takes away the excitement of the battle and tournament overall. In other words, it makes the battles boring and it really doesn't feel like a combo that has a true taste of victory to it. It feels really empty. If I would have to use that and win a tournament I dot really imagine myself winning really. It's too op, it's boring, and it's sort of to the point where you just make that and win and get a beyblade. So what? The prizes don't really matter much, I mean beyblade is not a big scene like smash anyway. It's about the fun of the tournament, not the actual victory itself honestly.
Hi DAJ, since you seem to have a lot of thoughts on Limited Format, why don't you express them in the Limited Format forum? https://worldbeyblade.org/Forum-Metal-Fi...omizations

Just simply show up at the desired location and time. You'll battle in the tournament.
Tbh i also dont feel like hades is a worthy ban

As Angry Face already mentioned previously in this topic, you should redirect your criticism in the appropriate thread about the Limited format. And Hell is definitely worth a ban in that lightweight format, since Hell Kerbecs almost uncustomized is top-tier and can dominate tournaments... The goal of Limited Format is to put those dominating parts aside and let others, often lighter and underused, shine in the spotlight.

Oh okay. I can get that. Its just frustrating to only see burst tournaments and limited metal fight. My main combo uses hell. Tbh i doubt its even "competetive" by standards, but i would like to see how he fairs in an actual tournament, but when there only tournaments where hes banned well... I kinda cant do that. Ya feel?

I totally understand that, and hopefully the last few criticisms makes the rest of the community agree to have a Zero-G or Standard-format tournament in the future now hah. I too prefer those two.
We allow customized Beyblades in our tournaments, yes.
The wrestling show I was gonna go to might be cancelled, so I probably will show up. I'm a little bit iffy about dusting off my MFB Beys, but I never got the chance to join a MF Tournament back when it was new.

And Burst has been consuming my mind lately lol
