I don’t use Facebook so this is really the only place I can check.
As much as I’m willing to travel for tournaments, It would be really nice to have a scene @ my front door.

I'm around KCMO and trying to find other bladers as well. Hopefully we can get a few more people and get some meetups going.

Would be down for a general meetup somewhere. Not too familiar with game stores in the area unfortunately, so wouldn't know who could hold.

Unfortunately there aren't many who would allow to do a meetup like this because they always have some kind of game night going, so we'd more then likely have to meet up in a park or something. If we get a good amount of people like 8 we could possible rent a room at a rec center or library. (These are just options we can iron everything out when we have enough people.)

Lawrence is a good idea if they have bigger tournaments but it's a hour drive for a lot of people here in KC so getting something local would be nice as well. Big Tourmaments are worth Carpooling to ^,=,^

You are not a phony, lol. We may already have a smaller place we can use for meetups in independence so its all good.
