I saw a passing comment on a YouTube video that states the Tyranno Beat blade is not perfectly balanced and you could use a 1-60 blade pointed at the side with only one prong to balance it out.

How true is this?

What? No, that's not true at all. The majority of blades are balanced, and Tyranno Beat has a symmetrical design. There's only a handful of blades with significant imbalances, and only a few of them (Cobalt Dragoon, Shinobi Shadow, and Knight Shield; namely) have intentionally designed imbalances.
Granted, there's more blades with intentionally unbalanced weight distributions outside of the mainline releases, including at least several X-overs (Dranzer S and both variants of Lightning L-Drago are the ones I own and know for sure) and many of the Hasbro exclusive retoolings of existing blades.

But the majority of blades? They're balanced, at least as well as their designs allow them to be.
