In the Sun

Well, after what I think was the longest time I've ever kept a signature/avatar set, it's time for a change.

I made myself a new set that I'm obviously calling In the Sun. It was completely inspired by the new Dir en grey song "DOZING GREEN". I was aiming for something simplistic as I'm trying to develop this style that I've taken to in my work as of late.

The signature is actually a screen capture from the video. Grin

What's the reasoning behind such a low score?
the silhouttes look pretty badass,
but aside from that it doesn't have much going for it.
kind of low quality.
i dont think you could work with much more but my impression isn't that great..
6/10?

i miss the bioshock one Unhappy

lawl

Anyway, thanks for the comments. It really wasn't a low quality picture, either one of them. Maybe it's the blur I applied that makes it look as such?

loll brad.

yeah i missed that bit. sorry.
i think it might look better if it was sharper instead of blurred
add a filter>sharpen

if it gets too sharp then go to edit>fade sharpen and lower it's % untill you're happy
If you want the blurred look, probably have a bright light source?

It's simple. Smile
I like it, honestly, it just feels good to me. The placing is balanced, and the palette isn't overdone with "OMG LOOK AT ME" effects.

You might want to make it smaller though.
Do what Silver Kane said, it looks a little too blurry right now. Otherwise, I like it, especially the avatar.
6.5/10 looks reasonable, not my kind of style though
