Estabilishing some ground rules for me, anyone can follow them tho:
- Combining drivers with modifiers does not happen nor is allowed: Just because I combined Survive' with Bearing' does not mean I'm combining springs, but rather the driver body. As such, unless the driver is meant to have a weaker spring as a drawback, dash, high, metal and metal caps do not count for the merge. They are driver variables (added on the base driver), not part of the driver itself.
- Mixing similar drivers is not possible: Quick+Xtreme kinda explains it very well.
- The fusion must feel like one: Not going with "Xtreme+Volcanic" and it is just Volcanic but rubber.
- The fusion must be at the very least different: Let's be honest here, a lot of fusions are not viable nor good. I'm just going to do the "interesting" ones thay came to my mind because they are cooler than "Evolution+Xtreme"
Also they will not have names, because they are fusions, like BearingDrift.
.
With that out of the way, I'll start:
- Bearing+Xtreme:
This one is quite the meme. It would have an Xtreme body but with the plate of Bearing. However, the plate would feature a rubber flat in the middle that would also free spin. The flat would not be too out, picture the very tip of the plate, there is where the Flat would reach. It could help with stabilization but also don't, but idc much. Spring would be normal, would prob have the same problem as Keep.
.
- Wave+Generate:
Ok, hear me out. Generate goes from flat to cone, Wave has a lot of layers. This driver is fused and starts off as a Wave missing it's tip kinda, the hole flat is one of Wave's layers. With that decrease of height, the lastish layers make more contact and will speed up the bey even more. Once the speed is gone, the tip raises up but voila, it is Generate's cone. Would it work? Debatable. Would it be technically a Generate evo? Perhaps, but I like the concept. The spring would be normal.
.
- Yard+Just:
Since Nothing+Just is already kinda a thing ig, Yard works. It would have Just's iconic sharp, but it would be slightly larger and free spinny. The plate of Just is now Yard's and it hangs lower than Just's, it also free spins. The driver would still be a little short but a little less so. Spring is normal.
.
- Anchor+Destroy:
I love Anchor. The driver would feature Destroy's tip and the plate would have rubber spikes like Anchor. The plate would still free spin and it would be taller than Destroy but smaller than Anchor. The middle of the Destroy flat would feature a little knob reminiscent of Anchor's skinny tip, acting as a sort of Fusion's knob or Octa's. There isn't much to it tbh, simple and straightforward. Would it have use? Idk. Spring would be normal.
.
- Planet+Reboot:
Picture this, you're using Reboot but you realize that it is garbage (in standard at the very least). Sadly, I can't fix that, but here's how it works: The tip would be very much like Reboot's, but the jaggy would be slightly larger and metal. The retracting tip would be more ball-ish and slightly bigger, increasing the jaggy part diameter. There would also be Planet's metal balls and they would still go Outwards and Inwards. Now queue the gimmicky stuff: Outwards to Inwards makes more spin (for reference, see aH gimmick) so having the balls go inwards and the tip retracting would make it go faster in theory. In practice we all know the balls do almost nothing and Rubber flats exist but idc, Reboot cool. Also quick sidenote, it is not Ul because I feel like the rubber would spend that extra spin quite fast. Spring is normal.
.
- Quest+Absorb: A Quest one was unavoidable tbh. (To make things harder, I committed to this: "Suction cup must stick by vacuum", so no tip in middle or anything that prevents the suction cup to behave like one). Anywho, the tip features the iconic suction cup, obviously, and also the bearing of it. However, it shares the locking of Absorb, meaning it can and will lock and go insane. However², due to how physics work, the teeth are weaker so that it can lock less. It will go somewhat insane, just not as much and will not share the same risk of insta-burst from landing that it "true" form would have. The height is also shortened to fit with Absorb. The spring is normal. On worst case scenario, this is a Nothing+Quest.
.
Bullet+Charge: Bullet is funny and so is Charge, they are also both featured on rival beys so perfectChBullet has the clone gimmick and Charge has spikes, combine both. The clone is now more "Charge-y" on the tip, and has more metal, decreasing the burst res if not ejected. Once ejected, the clone is more mobile and the original bullet driver also has a Charge-y tip: The iconic plus-shape tip has a body around it. The clone attaches on that same charge body and is under stress by the spring inside it. As the centrifuge force decreases, it gets unlocked and the spring releases the stress. Possibly ejecting the clone Cutgetting stuck and killing the spin.
.
Cut fusions:
Quest+Hold:
Quest with Hold sounds interesting until you realize it would just topple over faster than Quest does.
Quest+Drift/Bearing: Drift/Bearing with a Suction cup. Sure it would be good performance wise (Drift in specific) but soooooo boring.
Bullet+Unite: The Bullet flies and reveals a Unite tip, the bullet also has some rubber on the tip. Too little of a change tho imo.
Shot+Bullet: It jumps and ejects at the same time, it is quite a cool fusion but the mechanism of Shot does not allow it to have enough space for the clone to exists without instantly scraping due to how short it is. Cool concept, sadly not possible.
