Hi everybody!
As you can see, I'm a new member here. I'm actually coming back into Beyblading after a rather long absence. I think the last time I held a Beyblade was sometime in mid-2011. I mostly bought over the Internet from Japan, Korea, and sometimes sellers in Hong Kong, so I had Japanese Takara-Tomy Beyblades and Sono Kong Korean Beyblades as well. Before I quit for a while, I had Beys like Mercury Anubis and Divine Chimera, so I ended up getting quite a bit of money, which I used to go other places with my life. However, I didn't really get anywhere and so I've decided to return to Beyblading. It's been a while so I'll be spending a lot of time in Beyblade General reading up on recent developments with the game.
To start off, I should probably put it out there that I've never been on this site since I first started Beyblading in middle school. We had a few 'Blader crews' in my school and neighborhood, so that is how I played 'competitively' even though it wasn't official. My little 'crew' had about 20 members before it disbanded along with all the other ones due to people growing up and moving on. Because of this, I hadn't even heard of the WBO until a few days ago.
I have quite a bit of experience with Beyblade as well as other fantasy or anime based games. I have played Magic, Yugioh, Pokémon, Redakai (for the short time it was around), and even that one card game Chaotic from way back. That game no longer exists. Obviously, out of all those, Beyblade was and still is my favorite.
About myself... I live in Southern California, so I will probably sign up for tournaments and other official WBO events in that area. I'm 16, and probably should have grown out of battling spinning tops by now, but I haven't and It's not adversely affecting my life so I think it's fine. The only thing is that I can't let people at my school know that I am involved in Beyblading.
So yeah, I hope to have a great time here!
