After 50 years, the ancient art of Beyblade still lives on, but humans do not. The world is now inhabited by animal humanoids.
Now, young lion cubs play in dirt stadiums, requiring skill and knowledge.
"Go now!" shouted Lyter Lio as he battled a young lion
"Not today!" replied the young cub excitedly, "attack now!"
As his beyblade rushed at Lyter's, a strong wind was released from Lyter's bey, blowing the cub's bey into a tree.
"Good battle, you were great!" said Lyter encouraging the cub.
"Really Lyter?" asked the cub.
"Just keep practicing and you will be great Mizo" replied Lyter.
Suddenly, a tree falls behind Mizo. The trees falling start becoming ones closer and closer Mizo, Lyter and the fans.
"Look out!" shouts Lyter as he rips his bey at a tree about to hit the crowd.
As the bey is going, Lyter shouts "HURRICANE CONTROL!", destroying the tree into sawdust
"Lucky shot, young cub..." says a voice, "aren't you just a superstar to your crowd?"
"Let's see if you can beat me!" replied Lyter fiercely, "or are you just all talk?"
"You get him" shouted one cub. "He is a coward!" shouted another.
A bey is seen shooting into the sky, disappearing over the stadium.
"Dragon Emperor Spiral!" shouts the unknown voice.
A dragon appears and starts shooting down from the sky, cause everybody to run, except Lyter.
Lyter shoots his bey at the dragon, shouting "HURRICANE CONTROL!"
The dragon rushes it down along with it's self towards the stadium.
Lyter does a move not well skilled with and forbidden until needed, he exclaims "SPIRIT UNLEASH!" causing a huge lion beast, try to push back the dragon still using the wind storm.
"He is nothing Dithal!" said the voice, "NOW!"
A bright light started coming closer, and Lyter now noticed it was a fire like light.
Suddenly, Dithal rushes down towards the ground at a tremendous speed, pushing Lyter's beast with it.
A blader suddenly steps out from the vines and tree. The figure was wearing baggy jeans, a vest and had a highlight of grey in his black hair, but most noticeable was that he was the one producing the light.
A big bang hits the stadium, sending Lyter flying back and Dithal spinning inside the stadium besides a badly damaged bey.
"I am Ator" said the figure, now known to them as Ator, "seems like the dragon emperor has won again".
"Who are you?" asked Lyter with a raspy voice.
"Your worst nightmare and ruler of this land now" replied Ator with a huge grin.

Lyter gets up and looks around, seeing that the stadium is destroyed, trees burned to dust and 1 bey spinning besides a badly damaged bey
"Why do you come to my land and fight me?" says Lyter enraged.
"Maybe because you need to learn the true spirit of Beyblade" replies Ator as his bey flys into his hand.
"Maybe we should rematch if you are such a hot shot, buddy!" replies Lyter, now even more enraged.
"You're not worth my time, and neither is that broken bey" replies Ator, "There is no spirit when you let it be
destroyed..."
Quickly after saying this, Ator disappears after a bright light shines and a wind pushes Lyter back down.
"Gone.." Lyter says to himself, "Listen to me Ator, this isn't over you cowards..."
Lyter goes to grab his bey, but in shock after looking at it. A huge crack went through the middle of it with many other cracks in the metal wheel, and every piece being partly melted.
"How?" says Lyter, "IMPOSSIBLE!"
Lyter now realizes what he's facing; the Dragon Shredder.
Lyter runs to the BB: Camp Vine. Every area has a BB-Camp, where beyblade parts can be bought or sold, parts repaired and training in other rooms.
"Koji, I need your help!" says Lyter in a panicking voice.
Koji was one of the most knowledgeable bladers and well skilled. "What is needed today?" asks Koji, "New parts, advice? Need help with your spirit move?"
"Look..." says Lyter saddened, showing Koji his bey.
"Unreal!" says Koji suprised, "What did you do? Run it over with a boulder and throw it in the fire?!"
"A beybattle" says Lyter trying to stay calm, "Against a blader with some kind of dragon-bey. His name was Akor, Atari, Itor... It was a re-"
Koji cuts him off before he can finish. "Ator?!" says Koji amazed, "He is the best blader! His skills and beast are sick!"
"Well, sick enough my blade is shredded..." says Lyter angry.
"I hate to tell you this, but..." says Koji, trying to not say anything.
"What? Tell me!" says Lyter
"Your blade is gone" says Koji, "It is way too damaged. But you are lucky as I have been making, what I call, a 'Spirit Track'!"
Koji leads him to the back room, showing him a tube-like track.
"Give me your bey" says Koji excitedly. Lyter happily gives it over. Koji puts it under a micro scope-like machine that encases it in a container, causing it to flash. After all the flashing, the container lifts up.
"Let's check it out!" says Lyter pleased.
"I will get you some parts and we can start" says Koji as he leaves the room.
After getting some parts, Lyter inserts the track onto the bey.
They walk outside to a stadium.
"I am ready when you are!" says Lyter happy to finally test out his new bey.

"GO SHOOT!"
The beys start attacking each other in the stadium.
"Gaira, rise!" shouts Koji.
Suddenly, a scorpion spirit comes from the bey!
"SPIRIT CONNECT!" shouts Lyter
"NO, D-" says Koji, before being interrupted by the strong waves of wind from Lyter's bey
The winds starts getting stronger and stronger, blowing Koji back and his bey out of the stadium.
"Stop!" says Lyter panicking as he is unable to control his bey, "STOP!"
The winds get stronger each seconds, till a huge blast knocks Lyter flying. The winds finally have stopped, but ot without effect.
"Wha-what happ-happened?" asks Lyter confused as he gets up.
"You nearly killed me!" says Koji angered.
When they look into the stadium, they see metal and plastic pieces, with the only thing intact being the spirit track.
"Seems like I have to improve on a way to contain your spirit" says Koji as he goes to pick up the spirit track.
"Why do you come to my land and fight me?" says Lyter enraged.

"Father!" says Lyter wanting to talk to his father, "I need your help controlling my spirit power!"
"You haven't been trained, Lyter..." says his father disappointed, "You haven't learned or controlled your spirit"
"If anything I can't contain my spirit" says Lyter as he shows his father his broken bey
"You can't use your spirit anymore!" says his father angered, "You are forbidden from now on!"
"You are the strongest blader! You are Blader Zenex though!" says Lyter, fearing he will lose his Lion spirit, "You can teach me! You controlled it before!"
"Fine, but what will you control it with?" says his father Zenex questioning him, "You need a blade."
Lyter leads Zenex to BB: Camp Vine where Koji is working on a new project.
"Good thing you are here Lyter!" says Koji excitedly, "I have made a 'Spirit Facebolt'!"
"Wow, that is great!" replies Kyter, "But I need a bey..."
"Well..." says Koji grinning.
Koji leads them to a site far away from Lyter's home where there are dirt piles 3 feet tall and holes going 5 feet deep and wide.
"They have found some beys here, but there is one special bey..." says Koji.
Koji brings the bey to him for Lyter and Zenex to examine.
"Wow..." says Zenex suprised, "This bey is decades old, but such a complicated system..."
"Isn't that... The 4D system?" asked Lyter curiously.
"Yes it is, indeed." replied Zenex, "This bey is interesting... I must do some research on it."
"Already ahead of you, old lion!" says Koji with a cheeky look, "But, it seems like this bey is called Fang Leone 130W2D..."
"A legendary bey!" says Zenex shocked, "This bey must be researched upon more."
"I will take it to my lab and examine it." says Koji, "Then Lyter can have it."
"Wow..." Lyter thought to himself, "This is a legendary bey..."
After a long travel back to his village called Romachi, Lyter was excited at the thought of owning such an old and powerful bey.
"It is almost done Lyter!" says Koji concentrated on his work, " I just have to clean out some dirt and then it is ready!"
After 10 minutes, Koji hands the bey to Lyter
"I added the Spirit Facebolt for you, so let's test it out!" says Koji excitedly, "Also, I made you a special Attack Ring containing Lio."
After walking outside to the stadium and getting prepared, Koji and Lyter are ready to battle with Zenex judging. Suddenly, Mizo came to watch and brought his laptop.
"Are the Bladers ready?" shouts Zenex
"READY!" shouts both bladers.

Both beyblades go spinning around the stadium.
"Rise, Gaira!" says Koji.
"Rise, Lio!" says Lyter
"Use Poison Whip, Stinger Gaira!" says Koji.
Suddenly, Gaira's track starts glowing red.
"Lyter!" shouts Mizo, "The track has two scorpian tails which will blow some major hits! Watch out!"
"Go, Fang Lio!" says Lyter, "Use Dageki Tornado!"
Suddenly, Gaira gets blown near the edge of the stadium and Gaira's track stops glowing.
"Gaira, Doku Rush!" says Koji as Gaira completely is glowing a red light, rushing for Lio, not being effected by the wind storm.
"Lio, stronger!" shouts Lyter.

As Koji and Lyter battle in Romachi, Lio's Dageki Tornado gets stronger and Gaira slowing down
"Gaira, keeping rushing!" shouts Koji
"Koji, Lio's Dageki Tornado is going 102 miles per hour!" shouts Mizo to Koji.
"Don't tell me what to do, Mizo!" replies Koji, "Gaira, fly up! Let the tornado push you up!"
"Why would he do that?" thought Lyter to himself.
Gaira goes flying up above Lio's Dageki Tornado
"Use Doku Rush!" says Koji to Gaira.
Stinger Gaira starts rushing downwards into the tornado, into the spot where Fang Lio is spinning, where the hole in the tornado is
"A weak stop!" says Mizo suprised.
"Lio, fly up!" says Lyter to Lio.
Lio uses it's own tornado to throw it up into the sky, rushing towards Gaira
"Lio, use Usuiten Dash!" shouts Lyter.
Lio and Gaira clash, causing a bright red and green light to appear between, growing bigger in seconds
"What's going on?!" shouts Koji.
"Ahhh!" shouts Mizo, "Stop the battle!"
"No!" replies Lyter, "Keep going Lio!"
Suddenly, the light disappears, allowing everybody to see the stadium again
"Where are the beys?" asked Koji confused.
"Behind us!" says Lyter as he realizes the beys are laying behind each of them.
"It's a tie!" announces Zenex.
"Good job Lyter" says Koji, "I am impressed with your control over your spirit. One day, you will be able to use spirit connect, but until then just keep training."
"Thanks Koji! I will!" says Lyter excitedly.
6 days later, news breaks that Romachi will be holding a tournament in 1 week. Koji alerts Lyter
"Lyter!" says Koji, "There is a tournament in 1 week! Would be a great way to train!"
"We better start training!" says Lyter excitedly.
After 6 days of training, the tournament would come tomorrow
"Before I have to go, want to have a practice battle Koji?" asks Lyter.
"I would love to train!" says Koji excitedly.

"GO SHOOT!"
"Go now, Gaira!" shouts Koji.
"Not so fast!" shouts Lyter, "Rise Lio!"
"Dithal, now!" says a voice.
Lyter and Koji realize that a figure has launched a bey into the stadium
"No..." says Lyter, "Is that you... Ator?"
"Who else?" replies Ator, "Attack now, Dithal!"
Dithal starts flashing a red light again, but this time wavering
"Use Dageki Tornado, Lio!" shouts Lio.
"Dithal, arise!" says Ator as a dragon appears from his bey, "Fly up!"
Mizo comes running in as Dithal starts rushing up
"I saw a fire and now a dragon, what's g-" says Mizo before he stops, "No way! Is that Supaiku Dithal?!"
"Wait, Mizo!" says Lyter, "You can examine the bey, correct?"
"I sure can!" replies Mizo.
"Tell me everything about it!" Quick!" says Lyter.
Mizo opens his laptop and opens the camera. Within seconds, he gathers info
"The beyblade is Supaiku Dithal S130 EF!" says Mizo.
"What does EF stand for?" asks Lyter quickly.
"Eternal Flat! Even if the tip gets stuck, it can still spin and defend!" replies Mizo, "This allows Dithal to have attack and defense capablities!"
"Dithal, Use Shoji Flame now!" shouts Ator as Dithal starts rushing down towards Lio.
"Lio, rush up and use Usuiten Dash!" shouts Lyter as Lio starts rushs up.
"You are no match for me, fool!" says Ator, "You really think you can beat me?! I am the Dragon Shredder!"
"I don't care who you are, but you won't interrupt my battle with Koji!"
"Gaira, fly up! Use Doku Rush!" says Koji as Gaira starts to fly up, glowing red.
Dithal clashes with Lio and Gaira, pushing them down without any problem.
"Keep going Dithal! They are nothing!" shouts Ator.
The 3 beys hit the ground, fire burning in some parts and the stadium completely destroyed with only 1 bey spinning; Supaiku Dithal S130 EF
"You are so weak that I didn't even get to use my full power." said Ator grinning, "I hope you enjoy my full power tomorrow at the tournament."
"Wait, what?! You are going to the tournament?!" says Lyter shocked.
"Better save my energy so Dithal can crush you tomorrow!" said Ator before running off.
"Koji, what do we do?" says Lyter worried.
"We will train more!" replies Koji.

"Eternal Flat! Even if the tip gets stuck, it can still spin and defend!" replies Mizo, "This allows Dithal to have attack and defense capablities!"
"Dithal, Use Shoji Flame now!" shouts Ator as Dithal starts rushing down towards Lio.
"Lio, rush up and use Usuiten Dash!" shouts Lyter as Lio starts rushs up.
"You are no match for me, fool!" says Ator, "You really think you can beat me?! I am the Dragon Shredder!"
"I don't care who you are, but you won't interrupt my battle with Koji!"
"Gaira, fly up! Use Doku Rush!" says Koji as Gaira starts to fly up, glowing red.
Dithal clashes with Lio and Gaira, pushing them down without any problem.
"Keep going Dithal! They are nothing!" shouts Ator.
The 3 beys hit the ground, fire burning in some parts and the stadium completely destroyed with only 1 bey spinning; Supaiku Dithal S130 EF
"You are so weak that I didn't even get to use my full power." said Ator grinning, "I hope you enjoy my full power tomorrow at the tournament."
"Wait, what?! You are going to the tournament?!" says Lyter shocked.
"Better save my energy so Dithal can crush you tomorrow!" said Ator before running off.
"Koji, what do we do?" says Lyter worried.
"We will train more!" replies Koji.

Today was the big day, the Romachi Beyblade Tournament was today! Lyter and Koji train a little before the tournament
"Go now, Lio!" says Lyter as Lio knocks Gaira out of the stadium.
"Nice job, Lyter." says Koji proudly, "Let's head out now or we'll be late!"
As Lyter and Koji walk to the Romachi Park where the tournament was being held, but they were amazed by the crowds, totaling in about 100 bladers!
"We have some serious work to do..." says Koji amazed.
"We can train during the first few rounds as those are just for fun, then we have some serious things to do." replies Lyter.
Suddenly, Mizo comes running towards them
"Lyter! Koji!" shouts Mizo as he pushes through the crowd, "A new and powerful blader is here!"
"Who is it?" questions Lyter.
"Her name is Sofuni Janpa and she is famous for how her bey jumps!"
"A jumping bey?" says Lyter impressed, "I gotta battle her!"
Lyter enters his first battle, in which he gets distracted when he launches his bey; he spotted Ator. Lyter quickly gets back to his battle and wins. Lyter goes to tell Koji hat he saw
"Koji!" says Lyter quietly, "I just saw Ator!"
"We just lost to him yesterday, now again?" replies Koji, "Just try your best."
"That's not good enough!" says Lyter, "We must win against hi-"
"Come up,Koji Sasori!" interupts Reisata DJ, "Mizo Tekoroji vs Koji Sasori!"
"Good luck, Lyter!" says Koji as he runs off.
Koji and Lyter win all their matches, making it to the semi-finals along with Sofuni and Ator
"Next is Lyter Lio vs Sofuni Janpa!" announces Reisata DJ.
Lyter and Sofuni step up to the stadium, preparing their launchers and attaching their beys
"Are the bladers ready!?" shouts Reisata DJ.
"READY!" replies Lyter and Sofuni.

"Mizo, where are you?!" shouts Lyter to the crowd.
"Over here!" shouts a voice.

Mizo comes rushing over with his laptop
"Scan that bey" asks Lyter.
"Oh, I see. You need some help?" says Sofuni chuckling, "Attack now, Usagi Bauno!"
"Lio, go now!" shouts Lyter.
Bauno jumps over Lio, dodging his attack
"No way!" says Lyter shocked, "Your bey just bounced over mine!"
"The bey is Usagi Bauno JS145 WF" says Mizo, "JS145 stands for 'Jumping Spring', allowing it to jump!"
"No problem for Lio!" says Lyter grinning, "Use Dageki Tornado!"
"Funny thing is that it won't affect Bauno since I doesn't have a solid track" says Sofuni smirking, "Bauno, just rush at Lio!"
Bauno rushes at Lio, knocking it back and stopping Dageki Tornado
"Bauno, use Uzumaku Dive!" shouts Sofuni.
Bauno jumps into the air and rushes down towards Lio, knocking it to the other side of the stadium
"Bauno, keep jumping on Lio!" shouts Sofuni.
Bauno keeps jumping on Lio as it circles around the stadium, starting to wobble as Bauno keeps attacking
"Lio, use Dageki Tornado!" shouts Lyter.
"What's the point?" replies Sofuni, "It doesn't work!"
"But Usuiten Dash does!" shouts Lyter, "Lio, fly up!"
Lio goes flying up, pushing up Bauno as it tries to attack. Lio keeps flying up and lowering Bauno's spin
"Bauno, use Uzumaku Dive!" shouts Sofuni.
Suddenly, Bauno becomes surronded by wind, pushing Lio down
"Lio, use Usuiten Dash!" shouts Lyter.
It was no use as Bauno had gained the upper hand. getting closer and closer to the stadium and impact
"Mizo, how can I stop Bauno?!" says Lyter panicking.
"It's too la-" says Mizo before being interrupted.
Bauno had hit the stadium, causing a loud crash and a tremendous gust of winding throwing Lyter, Sofuni and Mizo back.
"No way!" shouts Lyter, "How did Bauno survive?!"
"The spring absorbed the impact, silly!" said Sofuni as she laughed.
In the stadium, Lio was lying still as Bauno kept spinning, unaffected by the impact
"Sofuni Janpa wins!" announces Reisata DJ, "Next up is Koji Sasori vs Ator Hogido!"

Gaira's tip starts glowing, digging down into the arena

Wind starts coming through the hole Gaira created and little taps could be heard
