I've just purchased Hasbro's dual threat launcher from Amazon (since no store in a 1000 mile radius has them (╥﹏╥) and I was wondering: it is on par with Takara Tomy's version? I saw a lot of  mixed reviews but mostly one stars on Hasbro's version. Unfortunately they were mainly from grandmas with like 6 year old grandchildren so I had my doubts •_ゝ•

I have both. And based on nothing but what I feel..
TT one is better.

I used to have a Hasbro Dual Threat. It made loads of noise when pulling the string, and broke quickly because of a broken gear inside.

Takara Tomy is usually better with all their products (breakage, quality, etc).

So the TT would probs be better

Well, I agree on that with the breakage of launchers, but I think Hasbro’s beyblades definitely don’t break as much as TT’s. Take I2 for instance, broke for the first launch for some people, but Hasbro’s didn’t break.
