Hasbro pro teeth wear

Yeah not having teeth that wear would be cool, but tough luck. Buy a new one.

If you don’t like that it’s not compatible and can’t afford to buy a new bey ever now and then, don’t buy the pro series. That simple guys.
You are definitely not wrong.  People who are unhappy with the pro series certainly can and should speak with their wallets and just move on for this product line.  If enough people do this, this product line should die.  This in turn could make Hasbro question if they should bother doing beyblades with higher production cost at all.  If Hasbro fans want beys with higher production value but they are disappointed with the pro series, I think it is understandable for them to voice their concerns. This way, if the product line doesn’t sell well, Hasbro would at least be informed as to the why.  Complaining/criticism is also feedback, if Hasbro wants to be a successful company, they should care and listen.  If Hasbro fans want Hasbro to do well, they should complain away.

That's the worst part of this. Hasbro finally produces something of seemingly higher quality, yet there appears so far to be a fatal flaw in its design (the teeth). Knowing this, the people who would have been interested in this product (like myself) are now questioning it, which could affect sales and eventually make them question why they even did it. I agree that we have to complain if we want to be sure this won't happen and they fix the problem for future releases in the Pro Series or similar lines.

Well, the question is how many people would complain, there’s no point in mass complaining without enough people. Beside this, for some people (more precisely my friends which I will try to get a photo of if possible), the problem doesn’t exsist. What I’m trying to say is while complaining is our only option as of now, it may not work due to the lack of people.

It may not work even if we have tons of people complaining, but does that change what should be done?  Hasbro can choose to listen or not listen.  People who buy Hasbro can choose to complain or not complain.  Both sides can just do what they think is in their best interest.  Even if the one that we are seeing here is the only one with said problem (I do believe Zankye showed the same problem?), shouldn’t that one end user want Hasbro know of his problem?  How can voicing legitimate concerns about a product hurt us as the consumers?
I can try and help forward the thread to Hasbro I did already mention through a Twitter post that I encountered the same issue on Cz-Achilles as well in the reviews on the other two but that's all that I can really do for now.

Please do.  I really would like to see the pro series as competitively viable as possible.  I would go as far as proposing a format designed to focus on Pro series releases.  A Beyblade burst pro series reboot format in a sense.  With that said, there has to be enough of these releases and the products need to have a certain level of quality for this to be viable. I think a Hasbro centric competitive format that actually get hosted can be good for the WBO, Beytubers and Hasbro all at once.

Thank you! You have more of a voice in this situation than I could ever have. I think if enough people with influence makes some noise about this, we can get hasbro to just use slopes.

Wouldn't just using better plastic for the teeth be easier then completely removing teeth and adding slopes.

Maybe, but completely just using TT plastic wouldn't help imo. It would make so much more sense to just edit the 10 or so molds they have for pro series and just use the same plastic.

Would it be possible for slopes to wear though? Probably not but curious. But either way that sounds like a good idea.

While just using the same plastic and editing teeth to slopes might be easier, I do think upping the quality of plastic overall on the bey might help for things outside of the teeth though.

Here's the thing tho, hasbro plastic isn't inherently worse than TT's, it's just softer. This has upsides and downsides, one on which being that it doesn't break as easily but dents instead. If they go with TT plastic, it will make the slopes not as good since it will be a glossier plastic and therefore less friction. The slope with Hasbro plastic is the best combo for hasbro and the slopes can wear a bit, its almost unnoticeable to someone who isn't trying to squeeze every last ounce of burst resistance out of a layers. Though to be honest, it may be better to see TT plastic on hasbeys, I just think the slope thing is more important
Just a little update: after like 10-15 times putting it together, the teeth feel about half as strong as it did on the first assembly. I’m returning it tomorrow to get my money back. I’ll probably end up buying some speed storm stuff tbh.
Honestly the only reason I'm getting the pro series now is for collection purposes and for the Disks.

Definitely yeah, but I hope And pray I can buy it and use more than just the disk. Like damn, this could be the best thing hasbro has done if they fix it ngl.

Given Pro Beys thus far are in the realm of Cho-Z meta (and there's quite a bit of GT layers that could fall into Cho-Z meta in strength), and should Pro Beys continue to be, it would probably be better to allow TT releases that would be balanced in such a meta than to have a strictly Hasbro format.

Just a quick update I did explain the issue of the Pro-Series Teeth and forwarded the thread to Hasbro for their team to have a look, that's the best I can do like I previously said.

Well thanks! I hope they can fix their mistake and go with slopes instead of teeth.
just make sure you arent mixing parts from takara tomy and hasbro
as I heard there usaly just pro series with pro series parts should be mixed
this could cause confusion at tournament's with kids
seeing a kid with a cho z valkryie from pro series equipment with an X+ plus driver I could already imagine

by the way can you figure any differences from TT drivers???? that can be easier to notice against the pro series that's my question from you bladekid
as you have a pro series beyblade
How bad are the teeth of hasbro beys anyway?

I don’t think that’ll happen because of cross compatibility (which therefore ruins the purpose of pro). I think they might try adjusting the teeth on the drivers to fix it. (Come to think of it, the teeth of my Achilles is very similar to my fake revive Phoenix).

It's really hard to tell apart lol. It's a very slight foggyness in the plastic on the driver. Very subtle tho

As far as how strong they are, the same as TT, but they wear down so quick that like 10 battles in they are like super weak.

Why does this ruin the purpose of pro? Making them incompatible is super dumb for so many reasons and it would make everyone happier if they were compatible. Beyblade is all about taking older parts and mixing them with newer parts to experiment and create a superior performing top. By making the pro line only compatible with itself, you lose a big chunk of that core customization and fun.

The point of pro is that it’s TT beys in America. Also by making it compatible it would be pretty bad for business as

1. There is less insensitive to buy hypersphere and slingshock

2. This leads to a fall in sales of main line Beyblade leading to budget decrease blah blah blah end of beyblade (in the worst case end of beyblade)
So is Hasbro Pro = Hasbro taking Takara Tomy's parts molds and making TT beys for the American market?

MAYBE whats happening is TT uses higher quality / harder plastic. When Hasbro uses their plastic to create TT beys with teeth.....this teeth breakage occurs.

So TT parts can technically work on Hasbro Pro since their essentially the same parts....but Hasbro Pro's parts are made with weaker plastic? So a TT part's harder plastic will break Hasbro's weaker plastic?

It would make sense for Hasbro with the Pro line to essentially make metal/rubber/gimmick Hasbro beys, TT beys but with Hasbro slopes.
BUT TT beys with Slopes might be more expensive for Hasbro to make VS. just reusing TT's parts molds and using their plastic.....i dunno

Quite the contrary actually.
1. Parents aren't going to want to spend $20 on beys that aren't compatible with what they already own
2. Comp bladers such as myself aren't going to want to buy beys that we can't test and experiment with
Making the point of "if they aren't compatible, people will want to buy to get more parts" is possible, but It'd be more of an obligation and less of a "I want to buy this" situation. If you give them the ability to mix it with old stuff, people are going to buy the new ones to see how they work with old stuff and not because they want to rebuild thier competitive collection. Also it will take away from the main series more if they aren't compatible. If I were in favor of them being not compatible, I would say "why would I buy the other stuff when it's not gonna help the pro stuff?". It will divide the hasbro player base and lead to more people ignoring the main series stuff for the pro series. Like heck I'd buy all the pro beys just to see how they would do on Br. Now unless the make more potent beys, it won't be worth it to get into this new series a lot of current viable hasbro stuff is better anyway. I can totally see parents not wanting to buy pro because they know they don't work and they don't want to buy all the pro beys. Like many parents didn't want to buy nerf ultra after I explained that they aren't compatible and that they're going to have to buy new darts to use them. A compatible pro series may be a bit of an investment on the parent's part, but if they know their child can mix them with what they have, they'll be fine with spending the extra money for a "special occasion toy". Short sightedly, yes, incompatibility makes sense, but if you look long term, you're going to make so many more people happy and excited to buy pro.

Think about it like this, I’m a new Blader right and I go to the store and see a pro Beyblade and slingshock Beyblade, of course I’m going to pick the pro one. If pro doesn’t have too much beys I see no reason as to buy anything but pro because it’s better.

Interesting find, the pro series works with the fake drivers just fine. I think this might be due to the height of the teeth on the driver being a couple of millimeters off.
