Here are some tests I did with the Viper Layer Base. As far as the weight goes, I got 8.95 grams when weighing the Layer. I used the Fafnir F5 GT Chip (3.02 grams) with it, as it's heavier than the Hydrax H5 GT Chip (2.75 grams). The full Layer, Viper Fafnir F5, weighs 11.99 grams. I tested its Same and Opposite Spin Stamina against Balkesh B3, Caynox C3, Fafnir F3, Garuda G3, Kerbeus K4, and Spryzen Requiem S3.

If the part being tested doesn't stack up to its opponents, that doesn't necessarily mean it's outclassed overall. It just means it probably isn’t as good when compared to its opponents in whatever specific thing I’m testing for. Sometimes though, more tests will need to be done in order to get more information to find out what exactly this part can be good at. These tests I’m doing are just the baseline information to tell me whether the part is better at something when being compared to another part or if it needs to be tested in other areas to find out what it can be good at.

I used Sting Liner-S (Battle Ring Mode) when Viper faced Balkesh B3, Fafnir F3, and (Left Spin) Spryzen Requiem S3 and 00Bump Atomic when Viper faced Caynox C3, Garuda G3, Kerbeus K4, and (Right Spin) Spryzen Requiem S3. Discs and Drivers were switched halfway through the tests.

Viper didn't do so well overall against its Same and Opposite Spin opponents. I had trouble keeping Viper on my launchers at times. Viper also has the potential to Burst Garuda G3 sometimes as well, but Garuda G3 will generally Out-Spin it. But of course, these are just a few things that Viper has been tested for. There’s always room for more testing as it can help us find out if there are other things that Viper could be good at. I'll probably resume the Astro, Artemis, and Aether again soon™.

Liner-S has great KO Resistance and it's gimmick works well to counter.

Liner-S is very tight, so there will be less Bursting compared to if I used something like Orbit or another Driver. I'm just trying to test Stamina for now.
