If this is what you mean, they are annoying as heck when I use a bey with Xtreme. Just because of those pegs, I want to consider buying a Takara Tomy stadium.

i've read here that hasbro put the holes there so the stadiums could be stacked and easily separated at retail. i do remember the old MFB stadiums being really hard to pull apart, they did not have holes. so the holes are more of a practical compromise rather than a competitive feature.

also, for the avatar attack stadium, the chop plungers do bolt into holes shaped like this, fwiw.

Yes, I was talking about those holes. I guess it makes sense that they're intended for shipping, but the distinct shape makes it seem like they had other plans
