Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

(Jul. 09, 2016  1:29 AM)Kai-V Wrote: The Hasbro Beyblade Burst application is launching this August 2016 in the United States (perhaps North America)! Chances are that the toys are coming right along that timeframe too! You can see the splash page here: http://www.hasbro.com/en-us/brands/beyblade

That's a dual layer bey... must be only dual layers are being released I suppose? Similar to the hybrid wheels and then Metal fusion, I guess.

Seems almost certain to me. In the other graphic we saw from that print shop's Instagram recently showed the same render of Victory Valkyrie and also Storm Spriggan ... no sign of the original Layers.
Thanks for the news, Kai-V! That's awesome that the release day is practically confirmed, after I got some information form Hasbro it would most likely be August, possibly/going into September for some areas.

Also, I found this, which leads me to believe that we may get some BeyWarrior-type products (sadly) Smith

Yeah, it didn't load on my iPad, but did on my phone. Here is a screenshot of the whole page;
It's awesome that Burst is finally coming next month, but it is disappointing that they're not releasing the basic layers... Still, it's awesome that it is finally coming!
Thanks for the news Kai-V.

I hope the teeth are better, and I hope it comes around August in the UK.
The teeth will be like the Dual Layers already have, probably: there is no issue at all with those, they are reinforced. What needed better teeth is Layers.
IF the App is includes Canada not just the US, do you think it will allow us to transfer our accounts or points from the Japan app?

I would hope so, but I wouldn't dwell on it Crying But maybe there is a possibility?
A big product line is coming besides the beys

Of course, no Beyblade series would be complete without the Beyblade underwear.

Hmmm, I guess we should consider WBO underwear since the WBO can't be complete without those. Andrew
Well, we have no choice but to bend to demand hah.
I'm not saying I'd buy WBO underwear...
But I would definitely buy WBO underwear.

Anyway, this is exciting news! Good to see they're keeping the app component of it, though that was pretty expected.

I prefer briefs. I'm serious, I really need WBO underwear in my life.
Well besides underwear, what about swimwear, swim caps, aprons, socks and the like? WBO on everything man. It will take the world by storm. One paper plate at a time.
It makes sense that Hasbro would make the application as broad as possible. it doesn't mean we'll necessarily see all of those products.
Small detail, but did anyone else notice that these were Phillip's-head screws shown in the picture? Don't know what significance it would make, but a rounded Phillip's-head screw would have a little more air resistance than the ones TT is using, but i guess it would be a tad bit heavier. Or this could just be an editing mistake and we are getting the screws on the TT layer, and we shouldn't worry about it. If they are different screws, the difference would probably be negligible anyway, but still a fun fact. Anyway, here are pictures to compare the two.

Nice catch on the screw! But unless Hasbro decides to use some really unusually heavy metal from what they've always used for small screws, from how it looks there, all this change will do is make the Dual Layers easier to take apart.
OMG so close! Gonna be so sick! Can't wait to start promoting the WBO and getting tourneys going. My life will be complete, lol. I bet this will be the most popular gen ever! I hope they market it really well. They should. Judging from all the spinoffs (beywheelz and warriorz) they must have done well with MFB.
Hopefully, Hasbro should do a better job with V2.
Great news. Really hope that Hasbro will reinforce some of the more fragile parts.

That's a pretty interesting change, and I bet it is for cost savings methods (like how a lot of later MFB didn't come with sticker sheets).

I don't mind if Hasbro does the spin-off toys again, but whatever they release, I just hope they put some thought into the design and release. I recently saw a flood of brand new, sealed Beywarriors at my local Goodwill, and my dollar dollar store used to have a aisle end full of them like a year ago. Seems like no one can sell those things. I really just hope that Hasbro doesn't hurt their overall Beyblade release by filling toy store shelves with semi-related toys that no one wants.
Hah, love the fact that hasbro is giving beyblade burst a giant push, judging from the links. If they keep focus on the main line, promoting customization and a lot of different interactive opportunities throughout burst, it could make this iteration the biggest yet. Can't wait for August!

Also...
...On the slim chance that hasbro DOESN'T reinforce V2, should we be bracing ourselves for the tidal wave of bladers complaining about V2 or Variable? XD
