Personally, i love the blind bag idea, putting different variations of energy layers, Forge disks, and Performance Tips would give a serious incentive to those of us who wants style to go with their beys, Like MEEE! Plus, blind bags/boxes are pretty popular too so i don't see why not do this too.

Blind bags are possible, not sure if they'd actually do it, but tons of other toys, some of hasbro's included, have blind bags now. I've gotten my kids the hot wheels blinds a few times, and my little pony has had it for years now. We just have to wait and see if hasbro wants to do it.

Personally, I think they'll just stick with the normal packaging and just put out the recolors over time, so we'll get more frequent waves of product, but not as many new beys in each wave, after the first at least. I just want them to release the recolors in some way, and they already do this with transformers, so it's not out of character for them.
It isn't impossible to think that they would release the random boosters.

However, I would put it deep into the realm of very unlikely, as they've never done anything like it before, iirc.
What I'd hope Hasbro did would be to have blind bags that contain only recolors, no new parts. Release Takara's Prize Bey as a standalone, as they always have.
^ I completely agree. I'm a big fan of recolors - it would be interesting to have recolors in blind bags.
If Hasbro made blind bag exclusive recolors, I would buy the heck out of those. Maybe they could do them like Random Boosters and have the Plastics remakes as prizes? That would rule. Tongue_out
Oh god, yessss. *squeal*
No, i hate buying luck based products. Even in TCG, competitive players buy their cards. I would rather buy knowing what i'm getting.

Do you live in Canada? If not, then you can't see the full thing.

Just to quickly list something about the name changes;

Valt = Valt
Shu = Shu
Kensuke = Ken
Rantaro = Rantaro
Daina = Daigo

I prefer Daina, but the changes aren't bad, and they kept most of the names, luckily.
They also changed Rising Ragnaruk to Raging Ragnaruk. I thought I heard them say this in the anime, but wasn't sure when they said it. Looks like this confirms it.

Weird that they don't have the full names on the actual products in stores, though.

I also thought I heard something other than Rising too.

Yeah, I realized that instantly when I heard Storm Spryzen.. I don't get it. Along with that, they didn't change the CGI models.. gah.

Emphasis is mine. "Teams or leagues" ...? Wonder what this means.

Awww man did Kensuke really needed to be shortened down? Ken isn't that bad but Kensuke isn't that hard to remember either, plus they kept an equally long name Rantaro. Not sure why Sunrights shortens always the name but Ken is an okay name so whatever.
Well, Ken is an English name, Kensuke is not.

EDIT: I found a way to get into the canadian version of the website:

Kaiser Kerbeus is now King Kerbeus
Kensuke's full name is Ken Midori
The anime will use dual layer type names (if you haven't noticed already)

Look at Mana's post vvvv GG lol
So basically...

Valt Aoi remains unchanged.
Shu Kurenai remains unchanged.
Rantaro Kiyama remains unchanged.
Kensuke Midorikawa is now Ken Midori.
Daina Kurogami is now Daigo Kurogami.
Ker is now Keru.
Bes is now Besu.

Valtryek V2 appears as Victory Valtryek.
Spryzen S2 appears as Storm Spryzen.
Kerbeus K2 appears as King Kerbeus.
Roktavor R2 appears as Raging Roktavor.
Doomscizor D2 appears as Dark Doomscizor.

I feel like there's been a huge miscommunication between Sunrights and Hasbro with those Beyblade names...

Yup because Rantaro, Valt and Shu totally are as well. I mean Ken is fine but I would rather they kept Kensuke, but that's just me.

The website design definitely compensates for the lack of effort Hasbro put into the actual product, LOL.
The renames aren't actually bad. It could've been a hell of a lot worse IMO.

Ken sounds fine albeit predictable and Daina's rename is odd. I guess the creators thought Daina's name was just waaayyyyyy too feminime (as it sounds like the name Dinah).

This website has high production values, but I have to say, I hate it. It's so slow and difficult to navigate. And the toys section is "coming soon" LOL

Raging Roktavor and King Kerbeus are cool.
How do you navigate the website

i'm slowly loosing my mind trying

help

I mean, that's kind of to be expected of a website that was just released to the public, no? The only issue I really came across was in the Characters section, where the renders would start off a bit blurry. Everything else was pretty clean for me.

N-no ...? Typically you finish something before you launch it.

It seems like this series was not really meant to launch until 2017.
