If the hair you're going for is that short(I'm assuming after a haircut) you won't need to tease at all. Teasing is for massive spikes, but it should work for that hairstyle, you just have to differentiate the birdsnest more, which gets a bit frustrating hah.Do you think it can help me make this kind of hairstyle/cosplay? Yes I meant the straightening iron.
Look up eemeraude on youtube, she used ot have amazing visual kei hair.
Also, straightening balm is NOT straightener, right? When you guys say straightener, I keep thinking of that instead of a straightening iron (if this is what you're referring to).
Hair General
How do you make your self you good looking? I love your hair so much!
BTW momiji/kaji, not using conditioner will make your hair easier to spike, but it will also destroy it. So, uh, tradeoff there.
Yeah, I never like NOT using conditioner, because my hair looks ugly when I wake up the next day. Is it wise to skip shampooing to style your hair, and shampoo it the next day or the same day to get rid of the stuff at the end of the day?
It's fine if you don't shampoo daily. You only really need to shampoo 2-3x a week. I do it every day though to get all the product from the previous day out.
^...Shoot, really? I don't use my Gatsby every day, but I shampooed every day when my hair was long so it wouldn't look like a bird's nest when i woke up in the morning. Good to know that I don't have to shampoo everyday and I won't have any horrible repercussions for it......
But on the topic of Gatsby, I have to share this because I am aware Brad here is a Kamen Rider fan. Though I might be one of those rare Den-O fans...

I HAVE styled my hair like the brown-haired guy's (Deneb-possessed Yuuto) before I started using Gatsby on occasion. But the longest my hair ever got was a bit past my neck. His is mondo long. Also, the black-haired guy's (Sieg-possessed Ryotaro) hair is WAY to extravagant to try and imitate. I think it involves braids...
Anyone tried coloring their hair with a temporary dye? And not a spray, either. If so, which one do you use, and where can I get it (if it's a general product that you can find in a CVS or so).

I recently shaved my hair to a number 2... Sad I know, to those who know me from the Australian tournaments. I used to have crazy anime hair.
I straightened my naturally curly hair, which took about an hour, styled it using Instant Rockstar wax (Gatsby if short, but it was very long) and strong hairspray at the end to make sure it holds during the day. I might post photos eventually.

Please don't style your hair after cartoon characters. They are not real people. They don't have actual hair.
i got tiny prob here..i find that my hair has the white hair..you know..the hair which old ones had..i dont like it...anyways to reduce it???

haha, I know.
I usually follow a day of hair styling with blowdry free days full of conditioner.
Benjohadi, you can't reduce it, but you can reduce the amount it increases. Try relaxing more, that should do the trick. Usually for young people it's caused by excess stress(exams, etc).
ouch..but my exams finished three weeks ago..now im off campus for a month..but i sleep late at night..is it because of that?or anything to do with food?
I tried my Cool Wet. And I'm a bit disappointed. i think I should've gotten the Wild Spike or whatever that pink one was. If I had known I was going to cut my hair....siiiiiigh....

Sleep is definitely important, but I'm not sure about diet, never had the problem hah.
dunno if my eye can sleep early..
carp lol thats off topic guys >.>
Which is off topic, the thing about the hair and sleep? They were talking about how the lack of sleep MIGHT affect the hair. I actually find myself with white hair when I'm not looking. Sometimes, it's brittle as hell and feels uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it's hard to identify the DEAD dead hairs on my head because they mostly like to chill in the back...

thats not off topic..this topic is general about hair..it can be anything..not limited to only hair style..can also including hair health..
oh yes..got another problem here..my here do not appears to be straight..i know i dont have curly hair..and it is not straight,i mean look like snake..and it is hard..is it mean that my hair is dead or not healthy?
is baby oil/olive oil is good for hair?how often should i aply it if it really good..?
kinda worry with my hair now..
olive oil is good for your hair IIRC, but if you get a decent shampoo and conditioner(basically not Pantene) you should be fine. Buying some protein spray might help if your hair feels really brittle though. Do you do your hair often?
The waviness of your hair doesn't mean anything hah, it's just genetics.

my childhood is really stubborn...

......carp, NOT Pantene? I've been using Pantene for the past few weeks in conjunction with Garnier....can I still use Garnier?
And no, I do my hair at least once or twice a week, but I always shampoo and condition every day, and sometimes take more than once (up to three times) a day....if...that does anything.

Probably, I just find with Pantene it makes your hair feel nice, but after a short amount of time makes it very greasy/not healthy ( I think I heard something about Silicon before).
You should wash your hair as little as possible(although I wash it everyday). Probably best to wash once every 2-3 days, not the other way around haha.
Styling your hair really damages it Benjo, so I'd just leave it to rest etc, don't blowdry as much.
Your shampoo sounds fine though.
