Where's the best place in HONG KONG to buy Beyblades......? Not ToysRUs. Willing to travel to TST, Mong Kok, Causeway Bay.... I just need to know where to go. I speak English. Thanks!
HONG KONG BEYBLADERS!
Why not ToysRUs? I thought they're pretty good place!
As you mentioned you'll visiting Causeway Bay. So I'll suggest you going to Sogo Department Store in Causeway Bay. Sogo store in Causeway Bay is a building obvious to find out. Toys're on 7/F. (Don't go to Tsim Sha Tsui's one it's different)

Floor plan of SOGO @ Causeway Bay: http://www.sogo.com.hk/cwb/en/shopping-directory/floor-plan.php?id=10
Note-taking: Not much beys and got a high foot traffic.
Next jumping into the AEON Mall. Not all the branch stores of AEON are selling Beyblade products except few bigger ones. My best choices are the one in Whampoa, Lai Chi Kok and Tsuen Wan. They're near to MTR station (Hong Kong underground metro system) so it's easy to get into. Check the details in my hyperlink! Address and opening time are accessible in the website.

http://www.aeonstores.com.hk/shop_info?q...id_eq%5D=6
Note-taking: Lots of Beyblade products. Around 5-10 mins from nearest MTR station of each.
Last I'll recommend you Wonderland. It's a popular brand among the kids and young adults nowadays. Feel free to browse around in the website below. Don't get scared by those Chinese character, the address and opening time are written in English after you click into the pictures. Whampoa's one is the flagship store and the details link is on the top left corner picture on the web page. Here my little plan suggestion for you: In Whampoa, you can visit Wonderland and AEON in sequence (or in reverse). Saving more time!

Note-taking: Whampoa MTR station B exit seems the fastest way to arrive.
OK it's the most challenging and difficult part. What if you want to hunting rare beys? Some specific, small scale toys shop may have them but sure not in the chain stores. Beys Hunt in Sham Shui Po and Wan Chai may get you surprise! But sure they're expensive. If you think they worth it, just go ahead... 318, Ki Lung Street, Sham Shui Po.

Note-taking: 318 Toyshop is closed on Sunday.
Just a friendly reminder.
Some non-official Beyblade products are selling in Hong Kong city. So be careful by checking the TakaraTomy logo on the packages. Especially when you're in Sham Shui Po.
Also because Hong Kong is a crowded city. And some of bladers or players are possessed the secrets of hunting down the rare bey in Random Booster. The prize beys can be dig out within a short period. If you really want them. Ask for a new one or the one was locked. My rule is keep away from the random booster which are showcasing. Consider your safety. (Your wallets' safety) (It can cost you A LOTS while getting lots of normal beys)
To sum up, ToysRUs is still one of the best place to go. Whatever, if you have any question I'll be welcome to answer.
Have a nice Bey-day in Hong Kong!

Have a nice Bey-day in Hong Kong!
Azsas, OMG THANK YOU!!! This is amazing scoop! We were at Toys R Us on our last HK trip. They were great.... they even had a Beyblade battle happening in their Harbour City store. But I noticed the kids were playing on their own lair, which was out of this world. I tried to ask where they were getting their Beyblades from and I heard Causeway Bay in the mix, but there was a bit of a language barrier. My little boy is always looking for the rare finds on eBay. And I've heard HK is amazing for Beyblades if one knows where to look. So your list above is just PERFECT! Also, I love any excuse for heading to Sham Shui Po, so I'm now excited, too!
HK BEYBLADE BATTLES.... Are there any Beyblade battles up and running in HK? We're heading over for Easter Weekend. Thank you again for your list. We'll be sure to fit in as many as possible.... And we'll head back to Toys R Us if you recommend it's good. Thanks so much!

Actually our local reseller are kind enough to hold small-scale Beyblade tournament in every weekends and holidays, similar to official G-4 tournament in Japan, but the venues are random every time, which will be announced on reseller's Facebook or local magazine. You may have to check it (in Chinese) before you join. And the participation threshold is quite strict, our local reseller is more focus on providing chances for children and teens (basically below or equivalent to seventh grade) just like Japan. There are two kinds of sessions in the small-scale tournament. Points-counting match and free-battling. !Caution:The contents below would be hard to understand! Points-counting match are mostly for the members who had registered before the game and usually they had joined the Beyblade program by signing an agreement to our local reseller beforehand. Of course, got the highest point could got a rare colour Beyblade part too. Free-battling is free battle, don't need to sign in, no prize but the threshold maybe downgraded.
I don't know if a foreign Blader could joining the battle due to lack of precedent. But free-battling is the part more likely you could join. The event host ("DJ") sometimes can borrow you few Beyblade parts. However bringing self own Beys and launcher is every Bladers' consensuses. If you don't have any Beys, brought them should be a better method. The main point I want to bring out is, even though you're lucky to visit the place where holding a small-scale tournament accidentally. You don't mean to have an opportunity to participate like if they're running points-counting match session or you don't have enough Bey parts for the play, or being not qualified under the threshold. It may the reason why your kid(s) couldn't join the tournament at the last time. (I know it sounds complex and indeed it needs some time for beginners to adapt)
Here an additional advice for you. If you're really looking for rare Beys. You better keep a bottom line of the price. Because these kind of items doesn't have a fixed price, so it's up to the shop's decision. They could set down a costly price. Therefore little bargaining skills and keep a bottom line are required. Also, I didn't heard there're too much rare Burst series Beys on the market in these year. (Everyone using online to finish the hunt now) So spend more time on other attraction is more worth I think. There a gadget-selling shopping arcade in Sham Shui Po. If you want a Beyblade 3DS game, take a look!
Lastly. I know I had recommended you going into Whampoa for buying Beys because of its conveniences. And a famous Beyblade YouTuber - a member from BeybladeGeeks had been to Whampoa looking for Beys too. But personally I prefer going into Lai Chi Kok or Tsuen Wan's AEON rather than Whampoa. I found Whampoa's environment is not that good at last time I was in there. Lai Chi Kok is more spacious and got more fresh air relatively. But then if your vacation plan is staying in the center of Kowloon. Sure Whampoa is easy to get into.
