Just found a place in chinatown that sells Tamiya paint and spray cans for really cheap x)
And I finally received my order from Ebay=) (5X GM01 2X gold 2X silver color pen)
Fully armed for detailing gundams B)

Ughhh, can't find any local stores which sell paints.

You are so lucky to have the amount of resources nearby you ~

I'm thinking of getting an airbrush too. And all the other models I've got on my shopping list. ;[

Well I finished RX-78-2. Unfortunately my cameras broken (joy), so it may be a while before I can post any pics.

But on a brighter note, I got a MG 1/100 Exia Ignition mode at the MCM Expo

I hope your Exia Ignition turns out well since it looks like such a nice kit.

The guns of the Strike Freedom took soo long to paint because it was pretty much a light black color.

Be aware that the MG exia is VERY LOOSE.
And once you put in the yellow fins, dont take it out, 100% it will break. Theres a few other fragile parts 2 so be careful xD

And G, how do you paint those??? the guns looks very detailed.
Did you pick up any armored core kits? I think you'd be very good in detailing those xD

RX-93 V PUNCHING SAZABIIIIIII
Makes me love gundams so much.

I just hand paint those. It irritated me so much when I accidentally dabbed like a dot of blue on the white ><
Haha I'm just too biased towards Gundams that I'll only buy them.

I had the normal 1/100 God Gundam and it was pretty decent. I'm sure the MG one has some kickass joints to it.

Is there any way you can show me a picture that is more focused on the guns? plz:3
from here they look pretty neat and clean.

I see what you mean about the looseness of Exia. The problem parts are the forearm weapon/ shield connections, the grip on the GN sword, the ankles, and feet.

The ankles and feet made it damn hard to stand.

Next step is to give it a wash, panel line it, add decals, and cover the transparent parts in masking tape before giving it a clear coat.

Then I've got to get it standing again

yeah I broke one of the 2 grips on the GN sword (and the yellow fins), so damn easy to break T_T
Do your airbrush your kits?

When I have access to an airbrush, I sometimes do some shadowing. But I've never painted a whole kit (I should do one day).

Because of what you said, I'm not going to even try removing the fins They seem sturdy enough when left alone.

Haha yes, don't even try to remove them. 100% it will break.

Ah man, lucky. I want to learn how to use an airbrush =(
and also how to use putty to mod parts, or just how to mod parts LOL.
