I'm pretty sure. And yes, the GH2 setlist is pretty fun. I'd like to go back and play, considering I sucked even on Easy mode.

I wouldn't even bother playing Easy. You're just setting yourself up to get too used to it and suck at Medium.

Then I turned it up to hard and the first 5 songs, especially the solo bit on Woman by Wolfmother, carp raped me. I couldn't beat it for the life of me.

But now I play through it on hard and laugh at myself. lol

Well to pass really you just have to keep your "Rock" meter from dropping to zero.

And yes, I'd say without a doubt GH3 is harder for newbs.

I bought GH3 for PS2 last week.
I actually bought it before I even tried it out, but I knew i'd like it anyway.

I'm trying to 5-star all the songs on medium before moving up to hard...after reading this thread, it sounds like I won't want to go back to medium ever again.

This game also introduced me to a bunch of songs that I'm now learning on actual guitar now, which is a big plus. It's kind of hard switching between the two though. :\
