Good Beyblade X Attack/Defense combos?

Just getting into X, ordered a few Beys for some variety in combat style, still waiting for them to ship…

Back in the Metal Fight days I used to run some good defense/attack combos, but I’m willing to experiment with different types depending on how I will need to adapt my playstyle for the X stadium.

Any good out of the box suggestions? =)
Phoenix Wing, Dran Buster, and Dran Sword for attack
Not really any good Stamina starters but you should still get Wizard Rod because it is THAT good, you just need a seperate launcher which means you'll also have to grab Buster or Wing along with it
For defense, the best I can recommend is probably Knight Lance if you're grabbing Buster, Wing, or Rod, but if you're getting it as a single purchase then switch Lance out for Shield
There's not really any good Balance starters right now but if I had to say, get either Leon Claw for 5-60 and Point or Hells Hammer for Hexa

As for a good attack/defense combo, Phoenix Wing 5-60 Point will probably be your go-to unless you have Cobalt Drake, since the two are pretty equal in weight, though Wing does trade some stamina for attack and vice-versa. Or, if you're going for more of a counterattack play style, you can't really go wrong with Knight Shield 3-80 Taper

Phoenixwing is probably your best bet for an out of the box combo, though I wouldn’t rely on it. Just buy some beys that seem interesting/have parts that intrigue you and work from there.

What's funny is I actually just ordered a Knight Shield with a 3-80! I'll have to try these suggestions out fs.

Yeah I've been reading some mixed reviews on PW, might get it just so I have the spare parts/red string launcher at least.

Still pretty solid if you need something on a budget
