Team "I Joined This Team So People Will Stop Sending Me Team Invites"
Questions and Answers (Click to View)
Q: What is this team about?
A: What it says in the title – I know people get tired of team invites, I am one of them. This is for them.
Q: Is it for anything else?
A: Well, I suppose you could also join this team because you feel a subconscious or even conscious need to belong to something larger than myself such as a group to help abate the fears of mortality that plague self-aware beings such as humans, especially given our complete lack of entry requirements, but there are plenty of other groups out there in the world that already do that, and you're probably a member of multiple already!
Q: Hey, that sounds like me, how do I join?
A: You don't have to do anything, not even post, though I would suggest at least including the Basic Sig Membership Text from the resources section in your signature to optimise the efficacy of your membership.
I mean, you could even just respond to invites with the generic response I've included in the resources section, or do nothing at all – if you consider yourself a member, you are one! But all of those things would kinda defeat the purpose of it!
Q: So I don't need to post here to confirm my membership?
A: No, but you're very much welcome to do so, just remember to read the rules for this subforum (and the forum as a whole, of course) as if I see anyone breaking rules, I'll report them.
Q: Will joining actually prevent me receiving said invites?
A: Sadly, no, but it should help! If you do still get a spam invite from someone, I suggest you simply ignore it. If they're "bold" enough to send another, I suggest using the canned response in the resources section - that way, more of their time is wasted than yours!
Q: Are there any team rules at all then?
A: Nope.
Q: So I can be a member of this team and another at the same time?
A: Well I don't know why you'd need to be a member of this team if you're already a member of another, but I don't have any problem with it.
Q: Do we have a fancy team graphic for additional effect/because I really do feel that need to be seen as part of something larger you described above and would like such a thing to more thoroughly demonstrate my belonging and thus the immortality of part of my personal identity?
A: Yes, check the resources section!
Q: Do we have a userbar?
A: No, be happy we have anything.
Q: Your graphic isn't fancy enough.
A: That's not a question.
Q: I think the graphic isn't fancy enough, why don't we have a better one?
A: [CLICK]
Q: So will we do team events/team drama/arguments and alliances with other teams/leadership spills/our leader getting banned and then signing up with a new name and saying he agreed to let him take over the team as they are friends and definitely not the same person?
A: No.
Q: Will there be a member list?
A: Probably not.
Q: So who's in charge then?
A: I don't see any reason actual leadership would be needed, but if it is, me.
Q: Why not just say no to the people that send you invites I mean maybe take it as a compliment that they want you on their team?
A: Consider this team a pre-emptive automated "Thanks but no thanks", saving both of us the time.
Q: I sent you/a member of this team an invite, how many times should I lash myself to make up for this crime?
A: Oh, you needn't lash yourself, odds are you probably wasted more of your time than you did theirs. Just don't do it again, mkay?
Q: I sent a member of this team a PM in spite of their membership here.
A: [CLICK]
Q: I sent someone PM Spam for this team how do you like that huh?
A: See above.
Q: I send people PM spam for teams but your rules let me be a member of this team how do you like that huh?
A: See two questions up.
Q: th!nk you're mean.
A: That's not a question.
Q: Okay then, th!nk why are you so mean?
A: If only I knew, son. If only I knew.
Q: Hi I'm From Team Super Duper Unicorno Blasters just to say congratulations on your new team and hope to battle you at tournaments:

Q: th!nk, your "That's not a question" and image schticks are neither original nor funny.
A: That's not a question.
Q: th!nk you always complain about not having enough time to do important stuff so why are you making a thread like this instead of doing those more important things?
A: I have three doctorates in Advanced Procrastination Techniques. This is part of the thesis for my fourth.
Q: th!nk why did you remind me of my own mortality you KNOW people don't like that as evidenced by your spiel about need to belong to groups?
A: I paid good money for those Psych units and by gum I'm going to get my money's worth. It might also have to do with the fact that doing so makes people more likely to join groups or at least espouse their membership of groups, but that's neither here nor there.
Q: th!nk why all these questions addressed to yourself that no one would actually ask? I mean it really just sounds like you're indulging your own ego in a vain attempt to be funny.
A: Yes.

I have mine centred and italicised:

If you don't want it centred, just remove the align tags, or replace 'center' with 'left' or 'right'. If you just want the image, just copy the img and /img tags and their contents.
The banner is 398px Wide by 144px Tall. Remember, the height limit for signatures – INCLUDING text, is 200px. This should give you a couple of lines of text to work with, but I make no guarantees and take no responsibility for the loss of your signature if you break the size rules.
