It builds strength, flexibility, balance, core. Calmness of mind anyone? Yum.
being flexible Is very important for strength training. Going through the full range of motion, preventing injury, helping the change and growth over time, focusing your mindset.

Oh...about yoga....I don't do yoga and never will. My mom does yoga and she often tries to convince to do yoga, but I refuse. I'm sure I can do without yoga.
do without, and missing out are different.

you're missing out.

you probably thinks its easy? or a female thing? not manly or cool?

hah, the only people that i've heard say that havent tried yoga Wink
the ones that have love it.
Personally I am extremely relaxed and indifferent already without Yoga ... The only aspect out of what you listed that I could benefit is flexibility, but I can get that done in other ways.

I believe that. You get out your anger and frustration by yelling at people and closing threads XD (just joking)

When I have to run outside for PE, I look forward to it. I don't mind running around the track all period. I just stay with my friends. Makes running fun.
My Mum was big On Yoga.

Im scared it Seems INTENSE! She is Extremely Flexible and even She said it was Hard.
Im sorta Put off.

Anyways. I get Lots of Sports PhysioTherapy, Strength and Recovery Sessions Which all comes with Playing Soccer.

What qualifies as "guns", hah ? That term is not used in French, obviously.

Are you serious? It means you have big muscles. It's a term used towards males that have big muscles or "Guns" Which is why some body builders or tough guys will flex their arms and say "Boom! Boom!" (Although I'm pretty sure SSJ is not calling you Male. Tongue_out)
Yeah, Kai-v tried to go to a recreation centre yesterday...
They wouldn't let her in...

I'm starting the P90X Classic next Monday; I don't have time to do it this week because of exams and such. I'm not going to buy a pullup bar because there are other ways around it; maybe an elastic. My friend showed me an exercise that I can use with dumbbells that equates to the bar. My dad also doesn't like me hanging off of support areas of the house, so... no bar hahah.

I've just been working on my arms for a bit, as well as my chest. I'm seriously going to push myself to do a lot of ab-work and cardio to shred fatty areas faster lol.

SSJ, you just made my day. XD

Kai-V could probably beat me up. Lol. I need to start using my Total Gym. (Yes. That thing that is advertised by Chuck Norris.) I could use the muscle. Tongue_out I literally have like no muscle. I think I might be under weight, but I eat more than I should. I think my my lack of weight is caused by lack of muscle. Seriously. I only weigh like 126. (Last I checked.) And I'm like 6'0. (Last I checked.) I seriously need to build up some muscle so I won't be a wimp anymore... Joyful_2

I guess I could be compared to Tsuna from Hitman Reborn! I don't have very much athletic ability. I was really good at running, but not as much as a few years ago since I don't run anymore. I guess I gotta start using my Tredmil too. I'm kinda good at baseball though. Not good enough to be on a team, but I'm pretty good if I'm just playing with friends. Perhaps if I build some muscle and strengthen my Cardio-Respiratory Endurance, I could possibly join the school Baseball team next year(?)
I need to get back in shape. I'm up at 160 pounds now. This is an increase from 145 back in September 09. Still better than the 200, but damn I miss abs. Well let's see what happens in Europe. I'll be on the go a ton...

Breakdancing could help you out in that department.

5 foot 10 inches, 126lbs for me.

For some reason, I've got a little more muscle on my right arm. We've been playing dodge ball in PE lately, so maybe that's why.
I'm afraid I'm going to gain a few pounds because both of my wrists are sprained, meaning no push-up sin PE. However I do more crunches instead.

I've heard a lot about the P90X. It's mentioned in a few songs, and the DJ on a local station said the Avril has beening doing the P90X. I think about SSJ when I hear stuff like that. that, and a Walther P90.

Not even a pull up bar that can go in the doorframe?

Ain't nothin gunna substitute for the bar.

Once you start getting into more advanced pull ups(not necessarily in p90x), you'll need a bar no matter what.

Just go on YouTube and search:
"Tony Horton one on one"
And
"P90X one on one"
(or just watch the videos in this link, ahah:
http://www.beachbody.com/product/p90x-on...archive.do )

And you'll see some examples of the pull ups I mean.

------------
I'm so super excited to start P90X+ in about two weeks, the schedule looks awesome.

Bey-Heart, I've got plenty Smile

I was mostly asking what qualified as "big". Of course, there are some super big muscles, but there are also some in the middle, which are still relatively big, plus it all depends on the shape of the person.
SSJfisherman and 桃太郎, Would you mind telling me about P90X and the results you get?
I've been considering doing it for a while, but I've always seen it as a way to get "lean" or defined, but not that great for building actual mass.

Hmm, type in "Arnold" in google and see what comes up.

Ahah.
Think of Arnold schwarzenegger.

Greimatter, it's not a mass building program. It's goal is all around improved fitness and lifestyle.
You will get huge gains in strength, but not a bodybuilder type body.
You do strength routines three times a week.
Cardio twice.
Yoga once.
Stretch once.
Also, it depends on what supplements you take. They give recommended ones, but if you want more mass, then you'd supplement for that.

Before I got it, I just went on YouTube and searched "p90x results" and I also watched the infomercial a couple of times.

Yeah, I know. But I have friends who do it, and I can't deny that they've gained mass. Others say they gained little to no mass.

I already have decent strength/definition, mainly due to gymnastics. I just want more mass. At least until I reach my goal of having a build similar to that of Mark Wahlberg. Grin

But my highly ectomorphic body has a hard time gaining mass, so I've been stuck at 135-ish lbs. for a while now. Quickmass worked very well for me in the past, however. I should order some more soon.

I am super pumped to move somewhere that I'll have gym access to start lifting.

You might want to try martial arts as well, they build up some tone muscles as well.

I didn't realise till I took a long break, hah.
