OMG you're alive.
General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]
Sounds good, thanks!
Any performance differences (pointing specifically at RF)?
And for the most part, have they changed shapes/materials? I assume they are using the same metal for the wheels

Oh good, I'm not the only one who noticed this.
I have had to press down the stickers on my Aries several times.
It was so odd to actually see the face sticker start to lift on the corners. This is ridiculous.
They are scrunching up with me and lifting up as a result... I thought it was just a design flaw I had no idea it was Hasbro's fault.

Yeah I felt the same way, it was bad enough that I looked for my extra takara stickers and replaced them. I've since designated my hasbro mfb my airbrush models, meaning no hasbro stickers for me ever again.
Yes, yes I am, life had a call I couldn't ignore unfortunately. Free again finally though xD
Hasbro stickers have always sucked ...i am disappointed because TT didn't stick with the plastic-ish pre-hws stickers those were epic
I always thought Hasbro's stickers had a stronger adhesive, in the plastic generation, at least. It appears things have changed. ;[

stickers suck in general i wish they would just paint them....
lol, that'd make it way more expensive though.
I just don't put most stickers on : )

I get really OCD about stickers.I either need them on all of them or on none of them. Considering I have most without stickers i guess ill never put the stickers on. Do the hasbro ones have a pre-printed face?
Nope, you have to put on a sticker, or they're blank.

Yes, yes there are actually. I intend to write a new topic up for this in the Customization thread along with some pictures. The mold for the Hasbro RF is different than my Takara RF and while I'm not sure it matters (though it likely does) the Hasbro RF's rubber part is unable to freely "rotate" in the plastic like Takara ones.
The best way I can illustrate it is with a picture, but I still haven't gotten to buying a new digital camera, I do have a laptop cam which might work...
Regardless:
Takara RF in the plastic: O
Hasbro RF in the plastic: ( ) it's almost like it's being pinched as two sides are rounded and two sides are flat.
EDIT: ... Got bored, here's a real quick MS Paint and my laptop cam snap show.

The top (blue) is the Hasbro RF, the bottom (white) is the Takara RF I fished out of my RF graveyard. I also included a comparison of a "fresh" RF (Hasbro) and my old worn and rounded "dead" (Takara) RF.

There is a piece of plastic that supports the RF in the Hasbro version.
(Blue 'I' is the piece of supporting plastic. Red ( ) is the rubber.

The Hasbro version seems to use the same mold as R2F.
It does use the same fitting method as R2F.
Hay don't know where to post this so... Las Vegas Licensing convention from today my Dad only took one picture from his Iphone.
Toywiz has an item on pre order that is Flame saggitario with a laucnher grip. Definatly getting that if it's released in the UK. Here's a link if anyone wants it:

As you can see, the 2 molds flattened the two opposite sides of the rubber that holds the tip itself into the plastic section of the Bottom itself making it impossible to spin the tip freely.
The performance difference between a RF that spins freely and one that is secured is negligible, but it is likely that the one that is secured would be more sturdy by not spinning around.

Toys"R"Us is apparently running some promo where in if you spend $20 or more on Beyblade merch you get a free DVD, anyone know what's that about? It's supposed to end Thursday.
I'm planning on buying another Storm Pegasus and potentially a Dark Bull, so maybe I'll check it out for myself.

Are things generally better priced at Toys R us than say wal-mart?
