General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

That's the joke...

I'm happy that they're releasing more Hyperblades now but eurgh that color why

If your nasal excrement is that neon I suggest seeing a doctor.
I understand why we're calling it that though, it's pretty awful.
That's what people were calling it when it was first released, haha.

@Ga'hooleone, I know I tend to state the obvious very frequently.
Sorry if this double post isn't allowed but I figured it'd be okay for this announcement.

The beyblade battles website was updated with Hyperblades. They have seperate wheels for each of the modes.

Eh, have they made it anymore accurate than before?
'cause it was a major let down for me originally :L

SparkFX Metal Fury 2-Packs:
Befall the Ripper
Barnard's Loop Attack
Pegasus Storm Bringer
Crushing Blast Barrage <- This one has a typo, Poison Zurafa should be BB-86A, not B121A. That would be Inferno Byxis.

An incorrect listing for Legendary Bladers: Nemesis Crisis?

And a new Beywheelz set: SparkFX Ripshot Battle Set

*They also posted the XTS Stealth Battlers and more SparkFX Beywheelz.

I'm late to the party, haha!

1) MUST HAVE NEW HOROGUIM RECOLOR :L Both of them look sick, oh lawdy
2) Holy cow that Fox is beautiful, the rest of it is meh
3) That Ionis and R145 look spectacular, and both are relatively competitive pieces (R145 is good for attack obv, and Ionis is pretty good on Flash). I'm also really digging the blue and green R2F.
4) Oh god that Aquario is ugly, and I'm on the fence about a lime green RF. I can't tell what color the rubber is, is it lime green too? A red MB is also a welcome recolor.

5) Generic 3-pack is generic

6) The black Beywheel looks awesome. I'd reference it by name, but the product description is hilariously wrong:

Hasbro lol Wrote:Product Description:

This delightful classic game is a great way to introduce a preschooler to the learning and fun of playing games. HI HO! CHERRY-O is designed to teach simple counting, number recognition and social skills. Includes Hi Ho! Cherry-O Gameboard, 4 Cherry Buckets, 4 Plastic Cherries, Instructions

WARNING: DO NOT LEAN OVER STADIUM when tops are in play. Do not use stadium on tables or other elevated surfaces. Tops may bounce up and hit eye or face. For use with Beyblade tops only!

That beywheelz track is a huge improvement in the area of crash battles. I'm happy.
Edit: Also, not sure if this belongs here but my toys r us finally got hyperblades in stock, and I noticed something very weird. For Diablo nemesis, in the instructions, it shows two modes, attack and balance, neither of which are ultimate balance mode, which is not shown at all. As for X:D, it says there are three modes, with what should have been sharp mode being semi defense or whatever mode and sharp mode being where the tabs are in the middle, not locked in. Strange thing is, ultimate balance mode is fully achievable, with the auto mode change and free spinning bit and all. So does hasbro really not realise what that beyblade can do?
Sorry if this has already been addressed or something, or if this should go somewhere else.

1st) That's Doom Fire Drago.
2nd) Epic Fail.
At least they got the warnings right. (Other than the word tops)
Oh god that fail. It'll be a collectors item.... Or something. XD
"Hi Ho! Aquario"
Anyways, that's a really strange Hasbro site glitch... The description was fine for me whenever I access it.
I am ABSOLUTELY getting Befall the ripper, just so I can have Evil Befall again, after my last one's tragedy. The fact that it comes with a RS is even better. I may also get the Pegasus one but I'm not so sure yet...
I might get the befall ripper if I see it. I need another EWD, plus I like Befall and UW145. It's never bad to have a bunch of RS either! (I'd have 5 or 6 after this purchase)
Just noticed that they actually decided to make the Cosmic in that 2Pak the same color as the Hyperblade. Now I must have it.
Im getting the Befall The zzzzzzripper, And the rest of the two packs r good
I'd buy a Diablo Nemesis Vs. Proto Nemesis X two-pack

Specifically; Proto Nemesis given TH170EWD
I have just had to erase a few posts; let me remind everyone that this topic is strictly about the hobby, so everything concerning the dub of Metal Fight Beyblade belongs in the Beyblade Anime and Manga forum.

Also, about the Shogun Steel theme song, it has been posted almost a week ago ... If you kept up to date with the topics in the Beyblade Anime and Manga forum, you would have already heard it by now.
I registered just to post this... Shogun Steel in Fall, and... arms on them? wat.

BEYBLADE SHOGUN STEEL BEYWARRIOR Battlers and OCTAGON SHOWDOWN SET
Hasbro's first ever figure-based battling system is inspired by the spirits in the new BEYBLADE: SHOGUN STEEL series. Insert the ripcord into the battler, rev it up, and send it spinning into action to bring the intensity of SHOGUN STEEL to life. Each BEYWARRIOR battler is made of five pieces to allow for ultimate customization, including interchangeable arms and feature different spirits from the BEYBLADE: SHOGUN STEEL show. The intricately designed OCTAGON SHOWDOWN set arena allows battlers to spin, crash, and ricochet for optimal BEYWARRIOR battling! (Ages 8 & up; BEYWARRIOR Battlers Approx. Retail Price: $9.99; OCTAGON SHOWDOWN SET: $39.99/Available: Fall 2013; Each Sold Separately)

From the ToyFair press release from Hasbro. Keep in mind they're not soliciting EVERYTHING. Transformers only have Beast Hunter Voyagers, and the new Constructibots, for instance.

Sounds like what they did at the last toy fair, focusing on another side product. To me this kinda sounds like the hidden spirits or another series from the plastics I don't know the name of, but they were like one piece beys with the bit best figure on them. (I'm pretty sure that's what they were). It sounds kind of interesting and the stadium sounds (to me) something along the lines of a zero g stadium. Except an octagon instead of a hexagon? Just my thoughts.

Actually, those were the similarly named Spinning Spirits. They were basically what you described, except they had two parts which was the AR & Figure and then the blade base.
The Beywarriors kind of sound like a line similar to Takara's failed Cross Arms line, except without the legs, which don't look like they weren't needed and were just for decoration.
Found a source for the press release article.

Edit: I found a Hyperblades VariAres on eBay, so it's out... somewhere...
That sounds horrible and I even prefer TAKARA-TOMY's focus on a whole other toyline called Battorog activated by nunchucks in the players' hands, but hey, if this is Hasbro's strategy to make Beyblade an evergreen brand, let us see ...

You know I'd say it would have to be better than BeyWheelz, but I don't think I will be. I mean this is kinda like the mechtogan in bakugan, action figures don't belong in a battling marble game, action figures don't belong in a battling top game.
At least those would actually be spinning tops, whereas BEYWHEELZ do not even deserve to have "bey" from beigoma in the name ...
Ugh, not Spinning Spirits again.

Please, just no.

I also found Hyperblades at my local Toys R Us yesterday, glad to see them going to other chains now.
Fresh off the announcement I posted, and Hasbro putting pics of these up on their website, I found the new Hyperblades at my local Meijer tonight.

Maybe a first in the world? Who knows, but for anyone rushing out to find these, keep in mind Meijer is ONLY in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky, so they may not be at other retailers yet. I have certainly found stuff at Meijer before other retailers. At Meijer Hyperblades are $9.99. I passed up the Blitz Striker.

does the variares say that it can spin left and right? if not, can you test that for me?
