General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

First off, I can't believe this is happening(I know I am late)!
HASBRO'S RELEASING 4D NOW! YUSSSSSSSSSSS!
Thankfully, I never bought there duplicates, hah! My money ain't wasted!

Now for Proto Nemesis- The Face certainly looks quite bad, but yes, its at least something! Overall, the bey does have a really good design to be honest!
We have no proof that they are releasing all the 4D Beyblades, just L Drago Destroy and Big Bang Pegasis ...

Well that's a pitty. I hope they release all of them with their original parts.....

Ah, and that too- recolored...

However, this does give me a good feeling. I expect something good, tbh.
One seriously can't deny though, that this was a brilliant marketing trick. I wouldn't be surprised if they pushed this further, and made all the 4D beys "Set-Exclusives" (not even a Double Pack), so that they could also clear out their suck-ish stadiums. Of course, for people who've pledged to not buy a Hasbro stadium and wish to respect their decision, Hasbro has their Metal Fury starters for sale. That is when they'd actually have us double-crossed....

But it does not show appreciation for their customers ...

Customer appreciation is pretty lacking in beyblade in general nowadays; on Hasbro's end with this stunt, and on Takara Tomy's for including only one of an important chrome wheel in very expensive sets(with Chrome Wheels on the whole being rather unkind to customers, given the insidious nature of synchrom).

That is just the world we live in today. Looking a gift horse in the mouth seems a bit silly, at this point; 4D bottoms being released at all is not something to him-haw about, it's an overall positive. Yes, it's a theoretical negative because of how it came to be, but in reality, it now makes the parts available when they were not, prior, and that is all that really matters.

Moreover, this little stunt will definitely bring in quite a lot of money, so at least it wasn't in vain.

Exactly! As long as they make those parts available, its really not a negative move. However, it certainly is one of those "dirty", yet highly effective marketing strategies...
The point of good Chrome wheels coming only with expensive sets is what scares me. I just hope Hasbro doesn't do the same(should it release all other 4D beys, that is) and make all the 4D beys "set-exclusives"(not even a Double Pack bey) and leave only Metal Fury beys to be bought as Starters.
I also hope that they do release them in their original weights; something that Insomniac. has already said...
Now, just to wait for some kind of confirmation for this news...
I went on the beywiki and it said fusion darkhelm, not firefuse darkhelm.
but yeah darkhelm is weird, if it was Fusion Pluto maybe it would be cooler

Beywiki is http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/
I do not know what you are referring to.
@ Kai-V: I believe he's referring to this one: http://beyblade.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
Which, I must repeat, is not called "Beywiki".

~Mana~ or L-PegasusBlader, if you read this message, this issue keeps growing and you cannot keep telling me that you never refer to the Beyblade Wikia as "Beywiki" : a lot of people do there, and it transpires over here.

You know, I never realized how damn good looking that LDD is. Definitely gonna get this whenever I see one.
Along with ANY of the other Metal Fury 2 Packs... Anyone seen any in their local stores yet?
yes they have plenty of those at my local toy store

Actually, I refer to it as BW, BeyWikia or simply, The Wiki. I never call it Beywiki. If I did, I wouldn't continuously complain about it as much as I do.
The confusion with calling it BeyWiki might be because of the fact that the entire site is called Beyblade Wiki without the 'a' (however, the URL has Wikia, but that's probably because it's under the Wikia domain, no?), so no matter what you as an administrator may refer it to, there will still be somebody calling it BeyWik to shorten up the name.

@Raigeko
I had actually never seen that double pack before, and I'm gonna have to agree with ya, the LDD does look pretty snazzy haha. I also like how the Unicorno clear wheel looks against Forbidden with that color.

Gasp = Getting when the second I see one !
I didn't even know the hasbro ver. is called 'forbbiden striker' , Gawd I'm behind in the world of blading XD
The so called fusion wheel on that one would look great I think on the original. And if possible a red FConfused or red LW105LF

"Forbidden" is the MW of Forbidden Eonis, just lighter. This is a double pack combo, not a standard bey.

Agreed!
That is one nice-looking bey! At first glance, anyone would agree that this is the "evolved form" of Meteo L Drago. The White and Red Color scheme which was predominant on the L Drago II Clear Wheel has been incorporated into LDD now... Or wait, is that just plain metal which is shining SO brightly, that it appears white?
Yeah.... I think its metal... However, it certainly looks good! Joyful_3

Oh, OK. That helps, Thanks! Smile

Most noticeable thing for me; they still forgot the Pegasus III Energy Ring...

Oh, and those colours are hideous...this makes TT's Samurai Pegasis actually seem fine having the bulk of pre-released parts...
It's a lot bigger though. I can actually see the different parts of Cosmic in this one! And FConfused and FGrin. I'm glad it's confirmed now. I hope they are released as starters though. I dislike those recolor a lot. It has a 80's style look

The L Drago is painted silver, like Cosmic and Meteo was. I know this because I have one (for free too!) The track is grey, and the bottom is red by the way.
Edit: Just thought I'd place this here...
Only 3 Stamina beys, and 2 of the three are Scythe Kronos'(?) ...

I've heard there wasn't a weight difference between Hasbro and Takara's Forbidden.
