General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Hasbro could be being very smart here. Remember how we got Metal Masters before Metal fusion anime even ended? Hasbro could be releasing these as the first few waves, and then when the Anime comes out WHAM COSMIC PEGASUS FGrin.

It's as much of a possibility as anything that has been said thus far.

I dont think so cause that would be weird :s
I think that Omega's statement is a very valid one... I am going to wait till like August for them

Last time Takara Tomy tried an expansion into the west they failed. That also wasn't the first time they've tried an expansion here and failed. Hasbro's releases of the Beyblade franchise have been incredibly successful, and Takara Tomy is making money from it being so successful. I doubt they'd want to change a thing.

You're going to have to elaborate here. Do you mean to ask if Hasbro has ever made changes to Transformers releases from Japan to North America? If so, the answer is yes. Hasbro has often dropped weapon accessories, changed parts that were die-cast in Japan to plastic in the west, changed paint (and the amount applied) schemes, plastics, and have dropped figures and even full lines from the west.

So of their changes were done to conform to US safety laws

Evergreen means something that can be continually re-invented to be popular. It's the opposite of a fad - something that gets big really fast but dies out and is never heard from again. In the world of video games the best example of a fad series would be Guitar Hero, with the best example of an evergreen being Mario. Mario's over 25 years old and is incredibly popular still. Guitar Hero was very popular for about 2 years, and dropped off a cliff and hasn't been seen since.
Ahh, yes you got exactly what I meant. Thank you To.

Well that disproves your theory njrk.
I have a question to you bladers:
When will the new beys will be in the stores?

I don't think it would be wrong to say Hasbro feels Transformers is more important to them than Beyblade. That's a series that has been around for nearly 30 years at this point, has inspired a 2+ billion dollar movie franchise, and is an IP they own outright. Compare that to Beyblade, which is in its 10th year (speaking of which, where's the anniversary celebration?) in the west, and is a licensed property that they continually have to pay money to Takara Tomy for. Does this mean Hasbro cares more for Transformers than Beyblade? Well, if you were to ask them that I'm sure they'd say they care for all their lines equally, but that in terms of importance the robots in disguise would be #1 on the list.
I have a question to you bladers:

You already said that.
This is possibly the worst ever change made by Hasbro in the whole history of Beyblade. I remember that Off the Chain did a campaign to essentially harass Hasbro by phone to ask them why they changed this and that, but this is surely the dumbest ever, and while I do try to moderate things in the naïve hope that Hasbro ever considers us for some sort of affiliation, I really just completely understand all the disappointment and I do think everybody should be free to express themselves, and I truly hope that someone at Hasbro discovers all of these pages. They have to see the upset they caused, it has to be recorded and engraved somewhere in the history of Internet.

The worse is that we cannot even do anything to try to get them to change : by the time we learned about it, it was already too late, the bad was done, and we are completely powerless.

What are really the chances that those Metal Wheels are good ? Seriously ? And that is just being ignorant to the whole 4D Bottom folly ...
It'd be even worse if they took the PC out of the PC Frame and just leave it as a........PTTWCO - Plastic Thing That Wont Come Off. Or even take away the metal shavings that are supposed to make Clear Wheels heavier ...

I think that they wouldn't have any mode changes on the metal wheel because the next show is going to be metal FURY not 4D.
I actually agree with Kai-V in that if there ever was a time for you guys to complain now would be it. This is a legitimately awful change that doesn't have a logical reason for occurring, and if there is one, it's on Hasbro to tell us. This isn't Hasbro changing the name of a top, or modifying a tip, this is them essentially throwing out an entire line of Takara Tomy products and then making some Frankenstein's monster Beys.

Hasbro doesn't do release dates, really no western toy company does. Just sometimes this year, likely the summer.
Alright I already miss this thread. I do eat my bitter chocolates. Kai-V also approved of venting so now we have a more stable reason to. I'm not able to constantly buy online because, well, give me some money in an envelope- call it a day.

I think Cosmic Pegasus would fit in an alternate universe, considering how outlandish it looks compared to Big Bang Pegasus. Fang should have had a name change. No longer able to flip parts anymore.
If at least they could have kept sensible colours, but they even had to change that ... I suppose that you could use the saying : "While you're at it, don't just make it bad : make it the worst possible."
Really? VariAries 145WD? How is that even close to D:D? Hasbro really didn't put enough work into this, I really hope a miracle happens and they change this, because i was looking forward to buying them... You did it again Hasbro...

I agree I mean the fang wheel is different than this peice.... Kai-v do you know if AT LEAST there is rubber on LDD
Hah, watch them put in the manuals how to change modes.

Watch them.

It was one thing to change the bases in plastics, but now, you're changing the whole goddamned thing.

Unacceptable.
How to change modes:
Step one: Seperate pieces of wheel. (Kid doesn't know how so he smashed wheel with hammer)
hasderp you still suck whyyyyyyyy
I'm absolutely frightened to see how they messed with Fusion Hades.....

Also, as much as I shudder, my impulse buy sense is tingling.
Stop making me think about what they will do to our precious 4D beys.
STOP IT I SAY :C
Possible failures hasbro will make:
change rdf to f (dear god)
screw up phantom with a metal core and a pc frame
duo is molded into attack mode (WTF)
blitz in barrage mode
vari stuck on defense
vari with a clear wheel for even less weight
phantom orion 135ms
beat lynx in defense mode
coat blitz and vari in rubber and plastic
"blitz is too dangerous let's use poison"
double packs: cosmic peggy vs. fusion uranus w105f
hollow wheels because "heavy wons wull hrrt littul kidz"

Edited, I meant barrage.
Hey, Assault Attack Mode is the better mode of Blitz.

I'm really disappointed I Hasbro right now. I was looking forward to getting Death, BBP, etc. for just $9. Then they had to go and replace pretty much every useful part in 4D.
also why is their no Light launcher 2 come on hasbro change it up i cant imagine what they will do with sycth kronos i just hoping for the love of god these are just prototypes and the real one will actually be better
We should never expect Hasbro to change the default launcher on their end at all. No.
