General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

The point of having Beyblades at the Toy Fair was for Hasbro to show off their own innovations for the franchise, not Takara-Tomy's, hence the focus on the XTS and Beywheelz toy lines. Sure, it's disappointing that they didn't show off any 4D Blades (aside from Spiral Fox, which is in the Destroyer Dome set), but the Vulcan Horuseus and Meteo L Drago Faceoff was to show off the new packaging design for the Metal Fury line.
As for the actual 4D/Metal Fury blades, Hasbro is probably:
1) Not ready to reveal their (possibly simplified) versions of the 4D blades. There was something mentioned about that a while ago, so Hasbro could make them more affordable to consumers.
2) Are ready but are waiting to reveal them at a later date. Give it a few more months...
3) Something else entirely.
... The Western community, if it were not for us, would not know about TAKARA-TOMY, nor TAKARA-TOMY's innovations. Hasbro's job is to distribute and introduce the Beyblade toys outside of East Asia, so it really seems relevant that they should show the Metal Fury Beyblades ...
They likely wanted to build hype for their new series - they know Metal Fury will sell. It's a given. It is not something they really need to "demo" for people.

The new products, however, definitely needed to be shown off. So, they likely just prioritized all of their advertising and so forth toward pushing the side line, knowing full well that their Metal Fury line will be successful regardless. Toy fairs are not really something known to the "general" public in most of the western world, so this lowers the value of showing off a sure-fire product even more.
IDK if this was posted yet. If it was then never mind

I take no credit for the video, as last time I checked, I am not Australian. Wanted to clarify that as Youtube and Google have been cracking down lately with his type of thing, and I did say I was going to go to NYC soon (which I have not)

Is this boutique stilll going on? Anything from the original 3 series?

Beywheelz is such a bad idea...it is just Flywheels...for a company that is overly cautious about lawsuits and such, this is a very bad idea...

I will say that I like the fact that these new parts are/might be? compatiable with the standard Metal System. Keep in mind everyone that this is just a way for Hasbro and Nevela to make some extra pocket change until 4D comes out in a year or so.
Deikailo made a post about that "Beyblade Boutique" in the Toys "R" Us Tournaments topic. It is basically just a small extra section for Beyblade with extra cardboards, some exclusive T-shirts, but the rest is exactly like anything you would find all over North America, and there is definitely not anything from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade. I do not know why you are still hanging to this sort of hope ...
I read a news article online about the boutique, and it had a picture from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade. I had never assumed nor stated that anything Bakuten Shoot related would be in this boutique before now, so your last comment doesnt make much sense.
"Is this boutique stilll going on? Anything from the original 3 series?"

Unless by "boutique", you were referring to Hasbro's panel at the New York Toy Fair 2012 ? It is over, and it is in no way a boutique.

I also have no idea why there would be a picture from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade these days unless the reporter has no knowledge of Beyblade at all.
More Beywheelz stuff.

I forgot about that post. Forget it then, I was wrong.

Hasbro's top executives dont even know the difference between Stamina and Attack types, so we really can't hate to much on the reporter. NPR did the same thing (pics of original beyblades from FAO Schwartz
@Kryptonite: The same exact video, but from another camera angle, is still the same exact video.
Wait! WAIT! WAAAAAIT!

They said an ANIME is coming with this Wheelz carp? O.o

Great.Scott.
Look around, we have had a topic for the BeyWheelz anime in the Beyblade Anime and Manga forum for over a week.
Would it be possible for those Destroyer Dome Tracks to be WBO tournament legal? I don't mean in the Destroyer Dome Stadium, but in actual Takara Tomy WBO legal Stadiums.
No, there is no possibility. Those "Tracks" go over Metal Wheels, that is just wrong.
I'm just glad that we aren't going to have Beywheelz as the main product of Beyblade. Can't wait to see the season 3 beys when they get released in the US (finally I can start getting updated further).
Here are the newer stealth battlers i found on Hasbrotoyshop:
^ Oh lawd, that Striker one is totally Phantom Fox MS.
I got Pegasus Jumper and Tempo Hammer Hit a couple days ago. From what I've seen Pegasus Jumper is definitely by far the best Steal Battler released yet. Tempo is too easy beaten, same with Kerbecs. Pegasus goes into a 230 like mode, and just kills everything, hah.
Alright Hasbro, you have me sold on Stealth Battlers. Gimme more >:3
That L-Drago one looks like L-Drago Destroy.. Pretty cool. Not liking the description though of how it says it makes a "sideways quake" or something like that.
inb4 q 2.0
I'm SERIOUSLY glad I stick with the actual beyblades and don't own any side-product but I will buy one Beywheel and the Destroyer Dome (that's probably what they'll call the 360 Sphere in Metal Fury in that episode).
The side products are plenty of fun, though... these are toys. They are for amusement.

People really need to stop being so uptight about such things...
It's not like Takara hadn't released something "ridiculous" before, really. Think the control series.

Good on Hasbro by filling in a gap, especially being their miniseries that I won't say anything about here.
I hope someday they will be interested in making a series of tops which are both compact (size of MFB) and electronic. Woot. Smile
I really can say that I do enjoy them right now. Still don't think I'll like Tornado Tops though. These thigns are DEFINITELY made for Hasbro stadiums. In a BB-10 they hit once and fly out. Battles last like 5 seconds LOL. In Hasbro stadiums it does the same, but they're longer.
Can't wait to get more, tbh.
Oh Mah Gawd!

Dat L'Drago Energy Drain HAS 6 HEADS!

IT LOOKS LIKE L'DRAGO DESTROY! o_o
I think it is supposed to be LDD.

Cetus Quake: M145Q epic failure.
Ldrago Energy Drain: MLD 2.0 stealth battler style.
Striker Drone: Phantom Fox 2.0
TORNADO OVERLOAD:

Tornado Kerbecs
Tornado Striker
Tornado Zurafa

And now we have tornado tip attack sounds (didn't we always have that? >.>)
Well isn't that nice? The effect looks so much better on those. Except for Zurafa, which is bizarre to me.
