General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

He was talking about the launcher lol.
And that's what we're all discussing here xD
Ya know Hasbro is doing me proud i know its been said but ill say it again i mean LOOK AT THIS

* printed facebolts
*simpiler packaging meaning nor more HARD sticky tape for the face bolt HATED that
*Being more Like TT in terms of Packaging but still keeping the hasbro feel
*Releasing Herculeo I mean cmon who doesnt want that cheap?
And

Keeping colors on the metal wheels I.E Gravity and Galaxy

And least we forget the Double packs RECOLOR MADNESS WOO!
I did. It's just that the Light Launcher LR having the ability to be used with left- and right-spin Beys, when it only has the prongs for right-spin is confuzzilng me.
Either that or I pulled a Hasbro (derp'd). Confused
You never know, Hasbro could have used the design of the beylauncher LR, but with a ripcord. It's not hard to imagine it, IMO. It'll possibly use the cap just like the beylauncher LR does. And when you want to change spin direction, do what is done with the cap and insert the ripcord in upside-down. Sorry if this is confusing in any way.
That'd be cool. I wish they'd release Light Launcher 2's, they have better performance than the ones Hasbro use, heck, anything has more power than a Hasbro Light Launcher. Except hand spins... but I like that idea, iBeyblader.
Or it could have the Digital power Launcher/Dual Shooter mechanism, where a switch is flipped and the prongs insert another direction.
But that is what the Rip Gauge launcher is. It's a DPL without the Beypointer and a super short winder (more than likely, that's how Hasbro rolls, hm, Hasbrolls Tongue_out)
Well, I'm going BeyHunting tomorrow, hopefully. In hope, one of us will get it [GD] first (Coasters, NightWolf, Raigeko, BBS [Me]).

By the way, that prong thing is highly improbable, quite confusing as well, heh. I totally understand the concept, though. It will be interesting. Can't wait for the Gravity wheel too, wish me luck.

It turns out that the launcher they are releasing Gravity Destroyer with is not just a regular Light Launcher. The bar that prevents the wrong insertion of the ripcord is removed, meaning you can put it in either side of the launcher for left or right spin. Although not the most ergonomic choice, its better than just a regular Right Launcher.

From what has been discussed ever since this message was posted, I really think whoever was talking to you was far from a "Beyblade engineer". The images that end up on Entertainment Earth are always the very official pictures and they always resemble what the Beyblade products will be. Therefore, there would indeed only be one launcher, with just a right-spin set of prongs. That whole description they told you is totally impractical.

Anyway, I actually got a reply from Entertainment Earth. I think most of it is generic messages, but apparently they got new information from the manufacturer and they should be updating their website within twenty-four hours to show this new information. I hope they will include in the description what launcher Gravity "Destroyer" has ...
Heh, we all hope so Kai-V. We hope so. Good or bad, we just wanna know what's the deal with Gravity Destroyer. You know, I'm surprised most of our discussion is with this bey, when there are others, like what mold is Twisted (Not really, just a thing). And also, BBS, I'm not gonna be able to get him first, my folks are suddenly against it... wish I had my own stash of cash, then I'd be able to buy whatever one I please.
And, no offense Kai-V, I think the customer service knows far more about Hasbro releases than you do. I asked if the launcher was any different than a regular one, and she told me the specifics of the launcher, that you can put the ripcord in on both sides. Whether it is impractical or not is irrelevant.
I'd go searching for it, but seeing as my birthday is on the 30th, I highly doubt my parents would let me get it. Tongue_out Curse you, birth (Wait, what?).

Unless they drastically changed in some years, no, their customer service is horrible. They had no idea about many things on Beyblades a few years ago, and with what she told you, either Hasbro made another stupid decision, or she did not know what she was talking about.
Something tells me you're right. I EMAILed 'en and they said the information wasn't available. What's the significant difference between calling and Email? Either that or our Beyblade Department needs improvement.
I'd go with the former Kai-V. Hasbro is at known for making stupid decisions, and I doubt they can get away with giving out false information
NightWolf Well, if they lied, you should sue! JK, read my post earlier:

That is not true. If it is impractical, which it seems like it is, you could've been speaking to a person that has no idea on how things would work.

Without another set of prongs, how are you expecting it to be able to launch the bey in left spin? The prongs is what makes MFB launchers very different to HMS launchers.

Did they mention an extra set of prongs? Without another set of prongs, there is no way that this would spin left...
I hope you're talking about the launcher, BeyFan. JK, I know you are. I think they're just gonna release the Light Launcher and ploy us Hasbro followers into buying a left-spin bey with their Light Launcher L or the Rip Gauge launcher.
Or I could've been speaking to someone who was reading information off of a computer screen? Don't you understand that the information I have is not from some woman in customer service, its directly from the Hasbro database. Perhaps it was yet another idiotic decision from Hasbro, in that case, there is nothing we can do about it. However, don't you accuse me of presenting misinformation. The lady clearly was reading off of a computer screen, and I doubt it was her fault for quote "having no idea how things work."
It's possible. But we don't know WHAT to assume. You could be right, you could be wrong, and your sig looks like it's getting mad at me! But that's off-topic.
despite what customer service told you, it can only spin in one direction with that laucnher because of the direction of the prongs, the prongs are limiting the spin direction, not the design of the bey

I don't think anyone is. At least, I'm not. But, you do seem to be defending this as factual information...when you don't even know if it is.

Case in point:

Having worked customer service myself, it is rare that someone would look through the database for information. They either know it because they have been told, or they simply "think" it'd be that way.

Neither of us have proof. You "think" she was reading off a computer screen. I have no idea how you would come to that conclusion.

In my experience, people working customer service can be idiots. A lot of them just give information on how they perceive things to be. Sometimes, they are right...other times, they are wrong.

But, there are times when we have been given specific information that we are to share with people who call. Could be the case here. Too much of this is hypothetical, there is no proof.

We will have to wait and see how things go, but as Kai-V has said, going off the past record...things don't look to be in the favour of Hasbro Customer Service.

So I assume they didn't mention anything about the prongs? Flipping the ripcord over won't make things spin left XD
...it changes with the mood I'm in. No one has ever seen it smile... Anyway, all off-topicness aside, I suppose all of you will have to wait until someone gets it to confirm anything
EDIT: When I asked her she said "It says here..." which indicates that she was reading off of SOMETHING. Well, if you are right and she is a dolt then I guess I'm wrong, but at this point there is nothing to solidly disprove the information I have received until someone actually buys it. I will end this conversation here, as to not provoke further speculation.
we should all stop speculating and go bey hunting for gravity destroyer, assuming that guy wasnt lying about his GD sighting
