That red chrome wheel is amazing!! I was hoping the paint was metallic ever since it was revealed at 2013 Toy Fair. DJ - Shock!
you are so lucky does anyone know when zero-g comes to america?
Geez, I am not even going to want to use Pheonix it looks so awesome! I have to get like 8 of them haha. Hope I can find some.
I'd get Thief Phoenix only for GCF, because the one I have now got got two cracks on it preparing to break eventually.

you could see of getting the set with Saramanda and Ifraid that comes with E230GCF, if you need any other part of that set than GCF

I'll probably get the team pack instead along side this Phoenix. I like this recolor a bit too much to pass it by. I just hope stores don't run out of them before I get the money to buy them, like when the Hyperblades first came out. (I'm still a little mad about that.)
Cool!!! Zankye just found all the new Shogun Steel beys too! He found Ifrit, Salamander, Orochi,Phoenix, Leviathan, and Kraken. He'll probably do unboxings sometime soon. Maybe today.

Wow. Just noticed that on the box, it shows Phoenix with a Yellow Crystal Wheel (Yeah, I know they're called something else now but I forget at the moment) when it really has a Red Crystal Wheel. I'm guessing that everybody else probably already noticed by now though.
These first Shogun Steel releases do not have the right colours, so my guess is that we will see a subsequent wave of release that has the appropriate anime colours. So, in a sense, it is like Metal Fury -> Hyperblades, except that all the parts are good this time.
Why would they just re-release the same Beyblades with the appropriate colors? They never did with Metal Fury. We never got a purple Jupiter. (or Fusion Hades....lol)
Metal Fury seems like it got cut very early to be honest ...

But you should understand what I mean. A first release of off-the-mark Beyblades, and a second one with more appropriate features, be it parts, colours, etc.

I agree. I doubt tht they would re-release every recolors. I did notice in that fire three pack, a normal looking Phoenic though (I think.)
I don't get why some people complain that the single packs don't come with stickers. Honestly the recolors make up for it and the stickers are just hard to put on, and after a few battles, it'll look ugly. I know that's not what you're talking about now, but I just wanted to throw that out.
I paint some of my Chrome Wheels XD
Any idea if hasbro is doing a world championships this summer?

They will definitely not do any championship this summer. That is something they would have to announce a year in advance.
So my town has all of the Shogun stuff so far... pretty sweet

But alas im rather mad they didnt modify e230 to make it much stronger and durable
Hasbro has a strange habitual pattern with molds, after the first few "waves" are sold we might have altered mold variants.

I agree. During metal masters, we had 3 dif. Molds for tips.

Original (same as TT), Wierd slightly reinforeced ones, and fully reinforced tips.

They reinforced Faces over time too by putting a tab on the top of thread too prevent the Faces from being screwed in too far. I wonder if they did the same here.
Seeing all the new Shogun Steel Beys I can't wait to get one.
I was at toys r us today and I found something of interest: http://t.toysrus.ca/skava/static/product...toysrus.ca

So I bought it, got home, and guess what? The did change something about them!!! The stone face is shaped like a cross.... I'll take a pic when possible!

By the way, shinobi saramandra and samurai ifrait are not painted, it's just crystal side up. And the crystal side on both of them has a chrome finish... So no painted metals on the set! And stickers!!!! Yay!!!! The face isn't printed on, instead they took one of the face stickers and put it on the bey.... So if there's anyone else with questions about the set pm me Uncertain

I can see it now:

Hasbro CEO: "alright guys! Here's the deal, we will release the series with tons of flaws! Then, when we sell enough of those, we'll resell them with their proper colors and everything! They won't resist buying them!!!
Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!
That was already known about the shape of the stone faces.

To add on, all of this info was known already.
Also, there aren't really any flaws, except the pocket stadium. Tongue_out
Either my guess is correct that Hasbro will release another wave later with the proper colours, or my other guess is right that Hasbro knows, starting from Metal Fury, that there are a lot of people who know about and buy the Japanese toys, so they have learnt to distribute the same good molds and, on top of that, to attract those people who already own the Japanese Beyblades, they will only ever release slight recolours that consumers might still want to buy anyway.
